Captain Morgans is available to everyone. (If Captain and Coke is your normal drink, and you have good taste buds, you might find it tastes slightly different...remember the soda in Mexico tastes different).
I remember reading posts about handing the bartenders a bottle that would be kept behind the bar and used to mix their drinks through out the day. Is this something that is still acceptable?
I have not done it since the reopen (cause the day after I showed up Jagermister magically showed up for the rest of the week at the premier bar yay) But I am sure that is not a problem. Even before we were members Elyse would bring bottle of Fireball (then moved JD fire) and I would bring Jager. They would keep them in the cooler at the bar with our name rubber-banded to it. Then we would share those with anyone that wanted shots. However, the only negative is having to return to that specific bar when you want those particular shots (not that big a deal). I would never send someone out of their way running around for just me like a douche-bag. Even if we didn't finish our bottles during the day, I could always find them the next day. A nice tip always accompanied handing a bottle over to my guys.
Seems as though they are following the Las Vegas method: Take away everything, sell the basics back to people as a "benefit of ... (VIP, Memebership, etc)"
I've brought my own large bottles of Grey Goose, Tito's and Tequila and had them put behind the bar. "Buying" people a drink can make you some good new friends, when they get the top shelf liquor from behind the bad that you brought!
