We will probably make a Walmart run when we get there for Gatorade, Red Bull, and booze. Just wondering how we know which buses to hop on?
I really hope I didn't spread a fear and gloom and doom about Cancun, not my intention. We've travelled on the bus a lot and have walked miles around the resort as well. Our last trip (2 years ago) we were followed by a not so nice looking group of young fellas after leaving Mercado 28 in the middle of the afternoon and opted for a cab back to TTR, well aware of our surroundings. If you haven't seen the news lately, including last week, there have been some shoot em ups at and outside of clubs and innocents have been affected and closer to the hotel zone each time. Hey, I travel to Chicago a lot and there are tons of shootings there too, but I stay where I feel I should be safe at the appropriate times. We've been going to Cancun for over 20 years and it's changed, you have to be more aware, but that doesn't stop us from going.
Shit dude, we live in Chilliwack BC and gang shootings between here and Abbotsford are pretty common. Carry on as usual!!!
If i re If I rember correctly it is R2 or R1 but I beleive both get you to the general area. One of them will drop you off almost at the door. The bus will say Walmart on it.
