Alternate name to Temptations?

Just do the sales pitch talk when you arrive and preface it by asking for a day pass as your gift, for your time

Whats your days you are there?

 

I kind of understand actually saying the name of the resort can be weird in certain social situations, but I think this has more to do with the way in which you might say it (with perhaps a bit of shame or embarrassment in the presentation/delivery of the word). I am a big believer in saying what I like/think/feel, and not really holding much back, but I have a way in which I do it that ultimately doesn't scare people off or offend them.

How is saying Temptation Resort and Spa any different then telling people that you are going to any Secrets property. In fact, that actually sounds even worse to me...hmmmm do you have something to hide.

 

We have to be careful, too, so we just say we're going to The Oasis because there are something like 6 of them so we don't have to worry about the person actually having been there and asking all kinds of questions we can't answer

 

I would never tell anyone Oasis.
Might give people the wrong idea about us or think we have become normal

 

We always say we are going to the Rui but then I was pronouncing it ruuuueeeeee when it really is reeeeeooooo or vice versa. I still don’t know how to say it And when answering the question of where we stayed once I said ruuueee and then the person called me out on it saying I said it wrong and how can I not even know how to say the name of the place we keep going back to over and over again. Oops a$$hole ha

 

we always tell people we're going to Temptation, I'm not explaining shit to nobody. If your friends are hesitant because of the name, I'd find new friends to vacation with!!

 

I think that Victorian days are already strong in USA...

We've got a couple coming on a referral the are Breathless repeaters ...now they heard about Temptation. I warned them! They'll never go back to Breathless again!

 

When my father found out in 2013 that I had been vacationing at Temptation, he told me in a very disapproving voice that I'd "fallen into the wrong crowd". I felt like a teenager who'd stayed out past curfew! lol
