Why doesn't TTR have someone flipping burgers on the beach? Its kind of an ass-whip having to go from the sexy pool to a restaurant. Every other place we have ever been has a grill..

Well the sexy pool is pretty much as close to the restaurant as the beach is, and less people hang out on the beach...
If you're a member, referral or in the towers, the servers or your butler will bring you food from the restaurants or buffet anytime.
You can also just walk by the restaurant, tip the hostess to order a burger to go, and come back in 10 minutes.
Also, when we've been there, there was one day a week when they did have the grill and buffet set up outside by the pool near the daily events wall - are they not doing that anymore?

    I agree with you Elle.
There are plenty of options to eat, without moving too far.
At New Years I seen several people Carry breakfast from the buffet to the beach to watch the sunrise a few mornings, which as you know is about 70 yards away.
The weekly BBQ is usually on Saturdays when the Rockband plays at the pool.
But that may be changing soon.
If you spend time up at SkyBar....you can get lunch brought to you up therr.
And the Kobe beef sliders and shrimp poppers are fantastic..

Not having a beach grill is part of what makes TTR different.
    Unlike any other resort.

I have always been torn between people eating at the pool. Like the convenience of not having to dry off to go eat, but as someone with a fear of birds, I love that there is not a huge amount of plates lying around for them to feast on.

I'm in favor of not have a grill and food outside laying around the pool and beach. If you're biggest problem is having to get out of the pool and go get something to eat... that's a good day in my books! I don't like the birds flying around crapping everywhere and it just makes everything look dirty.

When we were there they did it twice. I'm surprised they aren't still.

TTR is NOT for the birds . . . .

. . . . except for the love birds, peacocks, flamingos and occasional Dodo bird (varies due to level of intoxication).

FYI: the cartel doesn’t allow the birds to pester the tourists.
