Alternate name to Temptations?

Just call it TTR. Nothing about that name sounds provocative. We personally get a kick out of telling people where we are staying. People that we have told about the resort from previous trips just roll their eyes and say something like "is that the one with boobs all over the place?" With a big smile, I simply reply "yes it is!!"

 

Just tell them it’s a Motown themed resort! However I just prefer to be upfront. Life is too short to be hung up on a name.

 

Funny. We we're trying to figure out what resort name to tell our relatives as well. My wife's mom and sister I'm sure would give us shit if we told them the real name then googled the site as it's pretty peovacative and they are very vanilla. Not the kind of "heat" we're looking for.

If someone asks we just say "Temptation Spa and resort, Its adults only 21 and over" . Because quite frankly the older we get the more everyone can kiss our ass! If they want to judge feel free to leave but get us a beer on your way out before the door hits ya in the behind.

 

Oasis is my go to as well. I don't like answering stupid questions constantly about where we go in MX. There are enough about whether Cancun is safe.

 

We are going to Mexico late Feb but to Puerto Morelos. April wants a relaxing vaca away from the kids and not partying, no sleep,etc. Doing Halloween for sure though

 

In the past we have said the riu but now we just say TTR and let them jump to there own conclusions, This time Warren will be wearing his Temptation T-shirt with pride for the journey out so everybody will know where we're going lol

 

I don't hide where we go either. It was nice years ago when we could say Blue Bay but who cares now. Got a coworker that goes to Breathless but won't even think about coming down on a referral from us cause it is too wild and he needs to be in bed by 10 or so. His lose - it cost him the same for 4 days as I paid for 9 and we will have a lot more fun.

 

Have never ever deviated away from stating where we go to anybody.
The reaction from others is a sort of 'test of virtues' on them in my mind.
