Coco Bongo and other clubs: When does Temptations go?

Hey everyone! So excited for March Does anyone know what days the resort goes to Coco Bongo? Trying to decide if that’s the best route or if it’s worth doing it on our own or finding a ticket package for all the clubs?

Not sure if you’ve been to TTR before, but most of us don’t usually leave. Biggest reason is there is no party on earth better than there. Other reasons are it costs more $$ and some feel their safety may be in jeopardy being out at night and drunk.

 

Not a lot of people venture out. The reason is, the sexiest party in Cancun is just outside your room door, and when the night is done you don't worry about finding your way home. The biggest problem is finding your room key.

 

Coco bongo is amazing, we loved itthe couple times we went before TTR....but honestly once you are in TTR it is one big coco bongo....the themes, party, costumes...honestly every night feels like coco bongo there.

 

Weird. Once you’re in TTR you’ll quickly develop a case of Stockholm syndrome. In fact, if you do go out clubbing you’ll wind up kicking yourself the next morning felling like you cheated on your resort saying to yourself “why in the hell did I waste a precious night outside of the resort?”. Then you’ll need a shower.

 

Have been back 3 times since the re-opening in August and it seems Ents staff are not actively promoting organized night excursions to the clubs in hotel zone.
Not exactly sure why.

But may be, no incentive to do so or perhaps so few guests were even interested towards the end of the old TTR.
The days of going out to the clubs kinda lost its appeal once PatyO's started having DJs and a party every night.
In the old days there was limited night-time entertainment at Temptation and most nights PatyO's had no party.
Just a boring place for a drink and conversation. Some people would play cards there or have a nightcap drink after venturing out.
no one really hung out there most nights, unless it was a night with a scheduled event at PatyO's

People did go to Nice Shoes, which way back, was located in Margaritas which is now Amores.
It was an intimate nightly party spot, but very small and not conducive for a nightclub atmosphere. Some entertainment happened in therr but not on a grand scale.

Thusly, the HZ clubs were an optiinal alternative in those days.
But now, Bash is the best place to be if you want a club and a happening party with a great crowd.

You can still go on your own to the clubs, but as many have said....the value is minimal

 

Sooooo they don’t organize a trip to Coco Bongo?

 

Not that we have seen lately.
Heck Coco Bongo doesn't even do the 10 minute teaser show at the pool anymore.
Which we personally glad about.
Too much loud drumming before noon..always went for a walk when the performers showed up at the pool.
