Sept/Oct preference

We are looking to leave to TTR second week of Sept to first week of October 2018. First time there, and understand that hurricane season is basically July to December. What is the weather like in Sept/Oct? Worth going, or wait till spring?
Would Oct be too cool? We are from just outside Vancouver BC so weather is usually shitty and rainy that time of year anyway.

 

We have been at Halloween many times. It's always been hot.

 

We were there sept 28th thru October 7th of 2017. Our first time at this time because of the shutdown. We’ve been 6 times now total. We won’t go back at this time. More rain than we’ve ever seen by far. Rained every night to put damper on theme nights. And hurricane Nate missed Cancun by a literally a sliver on our last night there.... I’ve talked to many that repeatedly go at this time, and generally the weather is great!... aside from the rain we did have an awesome time as we always do. We have a trip planned now for mid-June. One last thing is that weather is not too cool! Typically mid 80’s.

 

We went October 8-17, and the weather (other than 1 night and 1 afternoon of brief/passing showers) was perfect. We’ve been to Mexico several times during early to mid October for our anniversary and have always had good weather. We’re already booked for October 5-14 for 2018!

 

Late September early October the weather is nice. Last trip was in August as and it was way too hot. Check the Octobereast group great peeps lots of fun.

Halloween is generally a fabulous time...who cares about the weather

 

Found a pretty good deal from Vancouver to Cancun with an hour and a half stop in MEX for just under $2600 for both of us....mulling it over now. Sept 10-16

 

We have been in early October 4 times and each time the weather was great. Plenty warm and it is before the time change so light late enough. We did miss 2017 where we hear the weather wasn’t quite as good. Plenty of fun due to octoberbreast. Heard September can be slow but haven’t been ourselves.

 

I have seen many Halloween reviews and Pics seems like a good time to plan a trip.

 

We have been in Oct countless times. 2017 was a really off year when It came to rain. However it was short showers. Weather was beautifull otherwise. waiting on work aproval to book again 2-8th of october!
