Two logisitical questions from first timers who are planning a trip: 1. What happens if you get a referral with a 25% discount and not go to the sales pitch? My understanding that the person referring loses out on $250. Would it work if you made the referer whole by sharing some portion of your discount or outright paying them $250 or some negotiated amount? We would love to get the discount but probably not into listening to sales pitches. 2. Are there any packages you can buy on top of your room reservation that simulate part of the perks that you get from the referral?
1:A: When going on a referral, you used a member week that bought prior a membership. They have LIMITED week per YEAR ( 2 -4 are the most common ). When they send a referral using one of their week they ask you to attend the presentation so they can get a 250 $ credit for their next trip. If you don't want to attend I'll suggest maybe to give that amount in US to the member. We got a way better deal than the referral this year. If you go and don't do it you fell into the naughty list and you might have some trouble getting a referral. You get a deal you should return the favor, if you have no intention to attend it I'll suggest maybe a vacation package seller or shop around. Expedia was having great deal ! 2:A:No, premier are for premier and their referral, TTR won't offer any package over that unless you are in the penthouse. Which only give you access to the roof pool !
