Dates: March 1 ~ 5, 2018# in group: 2 of us Interested in Boobs Cruise: ALWAYS depends on weather. If it's cold, Stacia is out. Cold to her is less than 85F. Put us down as a maybe. Here's the story -- Stacia & I were sitting down to a dinner out with some drinks a week or so before Christmas, and she happened to say, "You know, since we had to switch the November TTR trip out to go to Tucson, we're not going to have been in Mexico for *counts on fingers out loud to drive point home* since... August, September, October, November, December, January, February, March and then we don't get back until the VERY end of April! Babies have been concieved and born in that time...." So, I said, "That's depressing." "Not depressing, just a long time to be away. When's the last time we were not in Cancun for that long." I ponder, as the first time we went was the honeymoon in '98, then we went to a boring place in '04, but found BBG which became TTR in '07. I reply, "Man, that was '09. We went, but we didn't go twice that year, only the once. Every year since then we've been at least twice..." "So, what are we going to do?" "I don't know. Let me think." So, we did the Christmas & new Year thing. And then I started thinking about "when" we could get an "extra" little trip to Cancun in..., looking at Week 8, looking at DRM/DP, etc. Didn't want to go to breathless. Stacia asked me, getting a bit more direct, "Do you think we could go for a few days, just to do a little crazy time and stick our toes in the sand down there?" "Sure." "Should I check flights to see what is out there?" "Sure. Let me know what you see." *a couple minutes of finger-stabbing her phone later, "We could go for points on Southwest from March 1 to March 5." So finally I got out of my own way and emailed premier club and checked availability. DRM, full. DP, stuffed tot he rafters. Literally no rooms left that time frame at DRM/DP for those days. I "could" go to DRM for 2 nights, but who does that unless you're tacking it on at the front/back of a different trip, so no. The guy asked if we'd been to new-TTR and I said, "Yes, twice." He laughed, since it only opened... well, you know. He said TTR was running pretty full (due tot he special no doubt) that week, but they did have some availability. So I had him check, and Wallah! So, we'll see, or Stacia will, y'all, from March 1st through the 5th.
