So we've never been to Temptations or anything quite like it. We went to Vegas last year and had fun at the Moorea Pool (topless club style pool at Mandalay Bay). But I'm guessing nothing quite like Temptations. We are M31, F30. I was able to talk her into going to Temptations in February. My favorite part of travelling is meeting other people, there is something fascinating about hearing where lots of different people are from. We have a decent number of stamps in our passport, but again nothing quite like what I read here. We're looking at travelling the third weekend in Feb. I think we are both open minded, but admittedly I'm a bit nervous she may not "roll with it" -Neither one of us are interested in swinging/lifestyle. I'm worried this may be a problem. I keep reading stories about these Room Hopping Parties. And hosting in-room Jaccuuzzi. What is going on with this? -How raunchy is the Sexy Pool? -I'm a bigger dude is that an issue? -Are we going to be extremely younger than everyone else? -Are we getting in over our heads? -Can someone give an example of the "games" played in the Sexy Pool? -I like having a good time, but when bed time comes, I'm ready to fall asleep. I like the part where u like to go to bed at bedtime. I don't think it will be too much of an issue with all the sun and fun you will be exhausted come bedtime. We are first timers also and we are excited and nervous all rolled into one. I'm sure we are all going to have a good time. We will be there 2/19-2/23. Try not to over think it
Hahaha....yeah I wasn't sure how to word that...but seems like I've read a bunch of Trip Reports/Reviews on this forum, TA, and others that complained of noise want to make sure I do what I can to avoid that! Sounds like if we pull the trigger on this, we'll miss you by one day.
First timers here as well, I had a question about the best way to pay for things like jet ski rental, or excursions such as going to Isla Contoy. What is the easiest way to pay? USD, Pesos, credit card? And also wondering if anyone has taken the day trip to Isla Contoy. It looks to be a fun time. Thank you!
Relax, all ages and all shapes and sizes. My wife was also hesitant the first time and now we are headed back for a third trip. No one is pushy and everyone is just having a great time. Don't be shy and socialize.
Hi Frankie, I remember our first time to TRR...the first few hours and the first couple days we were like "Holy Cow...couldn't keep my eyes still". Then after the initial shock you start getting the flow of things. 1. We are not swingers either, honestly no big deal, everyone that asks is very nice and can handle a "no". The jacuzzi is a little more fun than the sexy pool as it is a small er group in close proximity. The room crawls are fun, usually a large group, say 20 - 30 folks, so just enough time to run around to each host, grab a shot, and get to the next one. In-room or open-door is what it is, you don't have to go in or except an invite, again a very nice "no" is not interested. 2. Sexy pool more fun than raunchy, topless girls but no open sex or anything like that 3. Size doesn't matter... TTR moto..."nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit" 4. all different ages there, with we were 30 when we first came, that would've been great 5. not getting in over your heads, chat on these pages and get a feel for the folks there when you are, a great way to start meeting before you even go, the more new friends the better 6. games played....belly flop (usually ask last 2 guys to take off trunks for extra pts.); Mr/Mrs TTR is a few pool/drinking/athletic competitions again with ladies no top men no bottoms for extra points; wet T-shirt...easy one, maybe ladies bottoms off; music/ movie trivia, pretty harmless; couple competitions, these are as fun as the participants get, they may ask you to participate before hand but again a nice "no thanks" will get you out if you want; there are more but can't remember right now. 7. we like our sleep as well, a garden view room away from Bash will be the best. Ask then to show you the location of your room and just know where Bash is to get away from it The more you participate in the theme nights the more you will like it. Go ahead and let loose and have fun, there will be plenty folks doing this so you won't feel out of place.
Don’t worry like said above all shape sizes and age groups. As far as people in the lifestyle being there yes, but you may never know,we aren’t in the lifestyle either but have made a bunch of friends at TTR over the years that I’m sure some are,but it is not going to be an issue. As far as the games they are fun to watch, but be forewarned if you enter one you will probably wind up naked. Noise in rooms won’t be an issue we usually try to get one near part O’s just to be close and we are both light sleepers You will be there with some great people, we get in on the 17th
