Has anyone recently booked a shared fishing charter in the Cancun area? I'm looking to treat my BF for his 35th birthday by booking a half day, shared charter. Trying to compare and see if any other couple(s) are interested in going in on one with us. Preferably Feb 1 or 2, 2018
I've read good things about Cancun Kianah's Sportfishing private charter, any thoughts?

We've gone with Rick's Sportfishing, it's a bit farther away but they were great and we caught more than I thought we would including 3 sailfish! (might not be in season in Feb)

Thank you for the info! I will definitely look into that and also consider season (something I embarrassingly admit that I hadn't considered)

Yup they have a calendar that gives you a good idea of what is happening. They also post what was caught recently ;)

Yup. There’s actually a good charter right down the beach. We booked it when we were there. There were six of us. All couples. About 30 min in every one but this other guy and me started feeling a little ill so him and I got to catch most of the fish. Had a blast. Plus where you book the charter is a restaurant that will cook the fish you catch in about five different ways for about $10 per person. Included all the sides. Needless to say we were stuffed. Walked back to the resort by way of the beach, took a snap, and then got ready for lingerie night!:marshe:

I went to the cahrter down the beach I do not remember the name. It was a shared chater and I had a great time and caught a bunch of fish to include about a 4 foot Barracuda.

I think it’s called Marina Chuck Chi. You can literally walk there from the beach. Or go out if the front of the resort and turn right. It’s a 5 minute walk. Good luck!
