Hey all, 1st time booking to Temptations .......for April or May it's looking Love everything we're seeing and hearing about the place and the Boobs Cruise even has our attention! Quick question though...... are we going to be okay here not being a swing couple ourselves? I mean, is that kind of an expectation at Temptations? Wife's a little nervous we'll end up sort of off to the side and out of the social loop maybe
Tell your wife not to be nervous. No means no, both to swingers and not swingers alike. There is absolutely NO PRESSURE to do anything outside of your/her comfort zone. Lots of people come to TTR who are not into swinging or swapping. You will not be left out of pushed aside as long as you are friendly fun outgoing party people - that is all that matters!
TTR can be as mild or wild as you want. Were all there for a good party!! I'm sure you guys will love it!!!
Just about to book our 13th or 14th trip. P&S said it very well it's totally up to you how far you go. We have always found TTR to break down into thirds, on any given weeks 1/3 swingers, 1/3 swayers, 1/3 never going to happen You will find the same with participation in the theme nights. It all works out that no one every seems to be out of place. Relax, let your hair down and have fun. If you are asked politely say "no thanks" We are not swingers but I have to say we have met some great people who are and it is fine, no one seems to care. Or maybe it is just nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit! LOL I'm not sure if that is still the motto.
We fall into the “never going happen” category but by damn we will have a great time...both with each other and a group fun.
TTR is all about being social and meeting new people, having lots of laughs and drinking like fish. That's the overriding vibe, not people running around constantly trying to get laid (single guys are the exception...Craig, you know I am not referring to you!). The atmosphere is great for revving up your engine to enjoy your own partner if you fall into the "never going to happen" category. One of the best ways to gel with Cancuncare peeps quickly is to participate in the Cancuncare theme nights, some of which are the same as the resort's theme nights (see the separate threads here for each month re: what theme nights the group has agreed upon). eBay is the best place to round up theme night gear on the cheap. Have fun!
We fall n the same category......we know our boundaries, and are totally fine with the motto "live and let live'. The lively atmosphere cannot be duplicated anywhere else. We love the energy and party atmosphere. It's like spring break for adults, and who doesn't need that. No worries. Everyone has a great time. It is what you make of it
One thing I don’t understand lately, based on the newbie posts, is why is everyone getting the impression that TTR is a swingers Resort? Is it from on here or the TTR website or ??? Just curious. I would guesimate that it is 1/3rd swingers, 1/3rd people curious and 1/3rd people just there for the party with every week being different based on partial takeovers and groups.
I'd say the majority of people there are just couples who want to go to a resort where they know everyone wants to party. We were nervous the first time we went (for the same reasons you are) and we had so much fun we went back 4 months later.
TTR is what you make it. If you want to be a swinger you could find some like minded people there If you want to party and just hang out then theres that too. Vacation at TTR is amazing and the best party in Cancun. The night life's at the resort so no need to go out on the town if you don't want to. A lot of resorts don't have night life at all. I have seen wild stuff at TTR and I have just chilled at the quiet pool or n the beach but I have also partied until sunrise so hard I was hung the F@ck over the next day. LOL TTR is one of those resorts that you visit and just let go and not worry about what others are going to say or if there will be kids running around. BEST RESORT IN CANCUN HANDS DOWN
