OK.. updated again.. we're up to 143 listed now.. don't think we have all the people off of FB but so it goes.. Booked and paid for my room through the sale so when ahead and got the airfare. So I'm locked in.. if everything goes to hell in a handbasket, at least I have a vacation in paradise paid for. Jamie
I want to book my air, but prices are abnormally high right now. What has normally been a $350 flight is running 5 to 600 this year. Hoping for the normal dip to happen in the next few weeks. But yeah, having the room booked and paid for (thanks to the discount from the sale) makes the cooler weather a little easier
I'm a million miler on United but for Orlando to Cancun on them you have to fly from Orlando to Houston, wait a couple of hours and then fly to Cancun. total time in airports of about 8 hours. On JetBlue it's a little less in cost or the same, I don't get the extra legroom or bump to FC or 3 70 lbs bags, but they have free TV and WiFi and it's a direct 2 hour flight. Hard to pass that up... Jamie
Usually find good non-stop flights on Delta out of Atlanta, but just found Delta flights out of my local airport connecting in Atlanta for less than the price of the non-stops (never saw that before). Take away the 2 hour drive and possibly not even needing parking for a week (may be able to bum rides to and from airport) it was a no brainer. Booked and waiting on May. There was a cheaper JetBlue ticket I looked at, but the return was via Boston. That's too much travel cooped up in a flying tube for my comfort.
