Hi All, We are doing our first trip to TTR come March 6th-11th 2018! Have been reading a lot on this forum and it sounds like making friends early is the easiest and best way to have a great time. So, let us know if you’ll be there then and we can look forward to meeting each other! For you seasoned pros, there are still a couple of things we can’t figure out since posts before the renovation don’t always seem to apply anymore. Here goes: Is there a community Jacuzzi that is open to all (no matter bracelet color) and what are the hours? Just read the theme nights are kind of hit and miss on the participation level. We want to go all out on the themes, but hope to think there will be plenty of others joining us. What are your thoughts on this? We are kind of unclear on what is not allowed on theme nights. Wife wants to wear a cupless corset for lingerie night, but it sounds like that wouldn’t work. Thinking see through material is OK though. Anyone know where the line is drawn? We are wanting to do the couples massage and have read a lot of different takes on it. Figure it is a matter of attitude and planning as to what the experience is like. I want to schedule it with two guys to give wife a four-hand massage while I kick back in the hot tub and watch. My questions regarding this plan are A) is this a realistic request of the spa? and B) is it appropriate if I bring a couple of beers into the hot tub with me? We chose the Plush Jacuzzi room and it sounds like the Jacuzzi is outside and near the Quiet Pool area. Sex in the Jacuzzi is a must, but any nuggets of wisdom we should know beforehand? Do we need to be inconspicuous? Should we invite friends over? Any hacks for the always on patio light? Stuff like that. Are room crawls open to everyone or is it by invite only? If the door is open and we just let ourselves in, will we be accepted if we carry extra refreshments with us? We probably will have a lot more questions and we are really looking forward to our trip. Hope to meet some of you then! Jack and Colette
We can't answer all of your questions because we've never done the massage, but we've heard it is awesome. We'll give you our thoughts on the other questions though. You picked a great time to go! The weather should be very nice. You are correct that it is very easy to make new friends at TTR. People will be happy to give you a smile and strike up a conversation, almost as if you've known them since your school days. Simply hang out by the pool edge or pool bar in the water and you'll meet others quickly. There is a community Jacuzzi and it is basically one level up from the Sexy pool. It's open to all, but we've never seen it used much during the day. Later in the afternoon though it tends to get busy as people stumble up that way and drop in. It can be close quarters with the neighbors, but that's part of the fun. This is for all, with no special pass, bracelets, or handshake required. This area usually stays busy for a while, then people trickle off for play time, a nap, and to get ready for dinner. There are several deeper areas at the end of the sexy pool that are very much like a jacuzzi, complete with bubbling water. These are commonly known as the aptly named "fun holes". As for theme night outfits, by all means dress for the themes! Not everyone will, but it's a blast and you'll have fun. We do every time. And the corset sounds super sexy! It sounds like your wife is already embracing the spirit of TTR, and she'll fit right in! Pretty much anything will work for coverage, and sheer is quite common. Stephanie often wears pasties to start the evening, but I've never seen one survive a night at the dance floor and Bash or the previous Paty-O's. It's been our experience that as long as you have something at least as covering as dental floss you are good to go. That would be an acceptable suit for the pool as well. You can check our album to see a bit of what we've worn for theme nights as a reference. If you see a room crawl announced, by all means let it be known you would like to participate. Above all, boobs are always welcome at TTR. They're magical makers of friends, door openers, conversation starters, and endless providers of wondrous joy. Glad you chose to try TTR. We're guessing you'll love it! Have an awesome time!
2nd question is a yes. Do your themes and have fun. Being in theme is also a conversation starter as well so it helps you meet more fun people. 3rd question. If her boobs are out it may be a problem but you can always bring some pasties just in case. Just by your one post here I am pretty sure the 2 of you will have the time of your life. Have fun.
Thanks! I'm thinking we will have a blast! Also, going to take your (and jnine's) advice to embrace the theme. Guessing those in the theme are the ones we will have the most fun with anyway.
we we did a room crawl when we were there a couple of weeks ago and it was great fun. If you want to you could set up a tread to see who is interested. It takes quite a bit of effort but it's great to get to know people b Rd before you go
