Let's just see how tilted the approval/disapproval landscape is on pictures at Temptation, if y'all don't mind. I am thinking that the "depends" is going to have way more than the ends of the scale, but this is scientific method polling. Ouch... I think I just sprained my brain, putting scientific method and polling in a row like that.
I don't think the issue is just people taking pictures but rather what they do with the pictures they took. Many who visit TTR are professionals or in a position where the public posting of their fun may not be interpreted correctly. Sadly we can't be sure that anyone who uses their camera at TTR will be doing so for their own enjoyment. We ran the Flickr site for a number of years where people could post their pics and have them be password protected. I would constantly get requests, all of which were turned down, to share the passwords. The idea behind the site was that people could selectively share pics with others who visited TTR at the same time. There were a lot of people who just wanted to see pics of TTR style fun which quite often meant topless or more. The concept of privacy and fun can be a difficult one to maintain.
Here’s my thing.. If you’re taking pictures in an area where there is no chance anyone else will be caught in the shot, by all means. We will usually take pictures before dinner in front of the quiet pool, or in the room/hallways after the girls get all dolled up.. That said, we don’t appreciate cameras by the sexy pool at all. Regardless if you don’t intend to get anyone else in the shot, after about 10 drinks, you as with everyone else in the pool will have their gaurd down. Then when you land on the way home you’re apt to find yourself a picture you don’t want to be in online. Snap those public pics with your brain if you can. The memories will becone even better than the pictures with age anyway!
The issue is not the pictures of themselves it is including others in their pictures and posting them on this site or on facebook without consent. Like Chinos says what goes on in Cancun lives on facebook. Since we can't fix stupid, guidelines are sometime required hahah cheers to all
My poll, my issue definition. I'll get there. Maybe we'll all learn something about other people's perspective, eh?
Yep, I get that. I'm wondering if there is a"Happy" medium, or if it is just a lost cause since there are that smattering of idiots out there who act like the turd in the punchbowl.
I don't understand why people feel the need to post everything on social media. I have friends that ask me to show them pictures of TTR and I tell them those pitures are for my eyes only and if they want to see they will have to go there.
no, there is no happy medium when it comes to cameras at the sexy pool and Bash....but there are unlimited opportunities to take pics that don't involve the Sexy pool or Bash or making other people FEEL inhibited....just do that. it doesn't matter if someone says they won't do anything with the pictures. no one outside their little group knows that. Camera at those two locations will have a negative affect on MANY women's exhibition level and raise inhibitions. (honestly that's way more important than the odd need some have to have pics of every moment and encounter) if you want TTR to turn into just another boring ass resort where only a handful of women feel uninhibited enough to go topless (or more) than just let people have their cameras or phones out at the sexy pool...that's all it will take.
