I don't know how you do your vacations, but we don't just go stroll the beach and that's the cvacation, that's the thing. Pictures are there to relive the memories, to bring back fresh details you've forgotten, etc. We really like our crazy party time pics we've taken at TTR.

People abuse it, like the guys (I assume they were guys, I suppose that's a weird sexist thing I just did, eh?) taking pics from across the bar of girls dancing on the bar, topless, bottomless, whatever. That's not cool.

But, if Stacia was up there having a grand old time with one or seven of her newest BFF and everyone's into the party-pic mode, tthen, hell yes I want those pics.

And, most of you guys are missing my point. I didn't ask you if you thought the no-camera policy would be a good thing vs bad thing, I asked if there really is an official one, other than the one at the Sexy Pool about no pics during the contests. Not trying to get another debate going, just trying to find out if anyone has a line on the official word, yet.

Actually Trish, I would care. Even if security isn’t around you shouldn’t be taking pics in the resort, who knows what you are getting in the background. It is courteous to the other guests to follow the rule.

Well ok. So back to the original question. Is there a new rule about no cameras period at TTR? As most know the only rule at the old TTR was not during games or competitions. But there wasn’t a no camera rule. And to be honest John I am not sure if there is a no camera rule at the new TTR.

Now the opinion stuff. We were on the side of no cameras period at the old ttr as we had some bad experiences with creepers while just sitting in chairs pool side and during games too where I had to throw a camera in the ocean once :) and even ended up on a porn site after on a Boobs Cruise receiving a double well you get the idea. But we also knew there wasn’t a rule against them period and agree the majority could take pics of their fun while ALSO being courteous to others. Dont believe taking pics and being courteous are necessarily mutually exclusive. But sadly there were bad apples and wish the staff did more to prevent.

With our two trips to the new ttr we were not stopped from taking pics but our pics were mostly of couples before dinner, us hanging out and some good old fashioned sex on the balcony (ha just kidding on the last one). So it sure didn’t feel like a no camera policy. But we did see them stopping people crossing the line...no taking pics during games or of others at Bash. So I am hopeful the same rules still exist but maybe they are just enforcing them more?

    From the website faq

    FAQ's | Temptation Cancun Resort

"Keeping the identity of our guests’ private is extremely important to us, due to the unique concept of our resort. For this reason, we ask that you refrain from taking photos/video around the sexy pool, as well as stipulated theme nights, due to spicy content. Feel free to enjoy doing so in all other areas of our spectacular resort. Be sure and capture your favorite Temptation Cancun Resort moments at designated photo hotspots around the property."

You’re right the debate is over because you’re gonna do what you want anyways. I already thought sunchasers has ended this debate twice already, once with the hotel policy and once by saying if she sees cameras she is putting her top on. If one girl already thinks that in the small pool we are swimming in here, it won’t be long before you have the resort to yourself with lots of girls with tops on then you can take all the pics you want. We have been to TTR 6 times, we go there and live the memories and we both can remember them we don’t need a pic, I
Was there. when we are home we are
Making more awesome memories that we can remember. If I can’t remember for some reason, I know we will be back in a few months to do it over again.

Ok so the rule is not a ban. Not allowed at the sexy pool or ‘stipulated theme nights’. Similar to old TTR. Just being better enforced.

Like I said I am not for cameras but to say they are not allowed or the debate is over is going too far. Clearly some of this is subjective.

I've had lots of people ask to take pictures with me based on theme clothing...I'm picky, some nights I won't because I'm not wearing much and I don't know them. Some nights I do. But I see pictures getting taken around the pool and I lose it. I don't mind if it's a small group or a couple taking 1 shot, but it's obvious when its more. I ran into these three spanish "kids" and they were sitting at the pool bar filming in November. Had Pedro (new ent staff if you don't know him) call them out. I think you just need to use common sense. Not everyone is worried about their reputation or personal life, but many are. I love to have fun at TTR but not at the cost of anyone's life when they return home....and for that I'll just keep coming back and make new memories.

I do take pictures of our group. It is great to remember all the hangover type moments. If people don't like their pictures taken then move away. If by chance someone is caught in the background I Photoshop it by blurring the faces and nudity spots. No nudity pictures will ever be posted to social media. I share the pictures within our group via personal message or email which they all appreciate. Never had a problem. It's also my Vacation and I am allowed to take pictures, I show courtesy and ask permission from whoever is in the photo area.

to all newbies....please understand rude people like this couple (and their 'group') are not the norm. It looks like the first week in May may be a good time to avoid.

I do the same too ,, so I guess I,m rude too . I am constantly asked for photos that I have taken and love to share them. I make sure they are all appropriate . A lot are group shots , selfies and scenic.
