OK, more than 3 people have mentioned the "new no-camera policy" at TTR. We were just there for Trip No. 20 in October, and nobody said any such thing at any point, during any spiel we received from any staff member.

I had my camera with me, just like always, and got fun pics around the pool (willing and previously given noticed subjects all) and at Bash (same dealio) and no security ever came up and said anything, not even "Boo!" (It was Halloween). Yes, ladies were doing their normal TTR thing with the boobies and thongs, and good for them. Bless them, actually.

So, what is the actual "deal?" It was Not like I was taking the pictures, or Stacia was, or our friends were of us when we handed the camera round, surreptitiously.

Well, we were in the sexy pool and a lady was taking pictures. She was told to stop, she persisted, security came over and looked at the pictures and made her delete them. Then we were upstairs in the sky bar, my wife was taking pictures of the sea and same deal - a guard came up and checked that there were no compromising pictures. Is it a "no camera" policy? Don't think so. But I do believe they take guests' privacy seriously and its a good thing.

We were there the same time as you, and Meri saw a guy take a picture of someone in his group, but the picture was facing the pool. He was told he couldn't do that. I took about a dozen pictures of Meri, and in a few there were people in the background. I didn't notice them at the time I guess. Took a few at Bash too, and no problems.

I think running into security is just a timing thing.

Why do people need to take pics there anyways, if u want a vacay pic go on the beach and face the water or go walk on the next resort. When we went in October my girlfriend and others were dancing on the bar topless and with no panties on and there were people in the back of the sports bar taking pics and the girls didn’t like it and one made it on a fb page. If there are no cameras people can feel more free that it won’t end up on social media and will be more open to the fun. If it’s porn your looking for there is way better on the internet guaranteed than some topless girls dancing around. If it’s vacation memories there’s lots of places on site and off site that you can take pics without people having to worry that they are topless in the background.

While we were there this past November, there was a woman sitting at the sexy pool next to us trying to take pictures of my wife on her phone. After a few words from me she decided to put her camera away. I am all for a no camera policy.

First they take away the free porn and then no inappropriate pictures? What's next, a mandatory 12 step program for porn addiction? ;)

...or, perhaps it's a plan to FORCE us to buy the porn!!!

As cheesy as it is, they should have a photo area at bash and maybe even the sexy pool like they have on red carpets. Where if you want to take a photo in your costume/outfit or minimal swimwear you can and then back to whatever you were doing.
