Reserving seats at the sexy pool - a poll.

Lol I had to forcefully convince a couple next to me that it was absolutely fine for them to put the umbrella down because it would not affect me, due to angle of the sun. I go back home and I can see people really really want to say "wow what a great tan" as that's the social norm to say to someone whose been away to a hot country. However, I do not tan. I spend a little time in the morning in the sun (if I'm up) but the rest is in the pool and it's shady in there. I did manage to burn my back this year and that's kind of turned into a tiny tan, but the rest of me is as white as before I left!

 

We don’t reserve chairs as we spend most of the time in the pool. Maybe we are just lucky but we always seem to find a spare single chair to dump our stuff on and under (there is normally 6-10 people in our group).
However, we did once watch a couple arrive at the sexy pool and after half an hour of walking around looking at empty towel laden chairs the husband casually removed towels from two chairs, neatly folded them and placed them under the chairs. He then proceeded to carry the two chairs to the other side of the pool and he and his wife enjoyed the rest of their day sunbathing, drinking and making new friends. Fair play to him. We left the pool about four and no one had claimed the towels (it was a Boobs Cruise day) but if they had returned they would have no idea who the culprit was and no one to kick off at.

But it wasn't a half-hour, neither Stacia or I has that much patience with this sort of thing. Off by an order of magnitude. It was ~3 minutes.

Perhaps we could pop down to the buffet at opening time and reserve all the bacon in case we feel like a nibble when we get out of bed at 1pm

 

I will keep this idea for our, hopefully, trip in April.... Classic!!!

 

It’s always the person in front of me who piles a pound on their plate, careful to get every last delicious morsel and there is none left for me. Who takes a pound? I just want a piece or two, dammit!
