Single Straight Guy's Perspective of Temptation - Day Pass

I will chime in as a couple that have never been before, but I do appreciate honesty in a guy. The off-putting statement to me was "wouldn't come back if he had someone". Why Not Come back? Perhaps what's good for the goose is not good for the gander? Perhaps he would not want another single or married guy to bring their "A" game to entice his own gal? I am totally about respectful flirting and fun. Let's just not have a double standard. If it is okay for me to go as a single and flirt with other married or attached women and even hook-up, it should be just fine if I am part of a couple to allow my other half to do the same.

 

We ran into this guy during the evening of his "day pass" and we can confirm: total creeper. I returned from the bathroom to find him hitting on my wife as she sat there with an unpleasant look on her face. He'd told her he was "looking to swing" and was hoping we'd ask him to be a third and let him sleep in our room. We politely declined though he pressed the issue for a while longer before finally moving along. We'd see him numerous times that evening walking around, rolling up to one couple after another as though he was on some sort of scavenger hunt, and I'm sure we weren't the only couple unsure of whether to be amused, disturbed, or a little saddened. TTR is a very different place, Linsanity717, but the rules of life still apply: humility, grace, tact, confidence, and subtlety will get you further than a day pass--even at a "swingers resort."

 

well....the truth is that the guy obviously didn't have game or wasn't hot. the same things women find off putting in unattractive guys works for hot guys. If he were hot and had a banging personality there are plenty of wives who would have been down for it. ...sorry dude, but it's true.

 

If you wanna join the smorgasbord............being a dish to pass! Lol

 

Being newbies, this is the kind of thing that would generate some apprehension from my wife. Seems like this kinda thing if far from the norm though,

 

I can attest that was the only guy even remotely like this that we ran into in our six days there. We met a whole bunch of awesome people and were never propositioned by anyone other than this guy. Wife ran around in skimpiest of outfits all week and was treated with respect.

 

Well I change my answer then to ‘what a dick’.

Definitely the exception than the norm though for those of you reading having not been there and wondering.

I just lost 3 minutes reading this post.
First word come in my mind is creepy.
I met some AWESOME single.
Also met some jerks.

But you were totally out of line and should have done your research before going.
Espiecially if your main target was too hook you up. Well you clearly got the wrong resort and no it will not go better the 2nd day. Go read about swingers and LS people “do and don’t” and if you want to get a girl maybe oasis cancun would been better.

 

Uhhh do you have the right guy? I know I didn't meet anyone from your area or profession.
