Single Straight Guy's Perspective of Temptation - Day Pass

Temptation doesn't advertise itself as a swingers resort and they say they're not, but with some of the activity that goes on, it definitely comes off as one. Despite this, I can't agree that 'anything goes', is how it rolls.

I found out about this resort pretty late and by that time, rooms were sold out for the days I could make it. Since I wanted to experience the resort, I settled for a day pass, which normally costs $250 (almost as much as a night's stay), but after listening to the membership presentation, it was half off.

The main draws: hot girls, tits, and possible sex. Sounds like a single guy's dream, but the odds are against you. However with decent game and some luck, it's not impossible to score. Even though I have picked up girls off the street and events before, I wouldn't say my game is top notch. Anyways, I think the best thing to do is curb your expectations if you decide to come here, because if you're look to get laid and don't, you will be sorely disappointed. I suppose touching some breasts, dancing, talking to, and staring at topless women isn't the worst consolation prize, but that's still short of your goals! (if you're into American football, I'd say it's like settling for a field goal because you didn't get the touchdown). Although this place is very sexually charged, that doesn't mean you can walk up to someone you like and say 'hey wanna go back to my/your room?' without building rapport.

The majority of the patrons are couples in their 30s to 50s. Swingers couples are known to be here, but you will also meet a good amount of couples who won't play. No couples were willing to let me in on the wife, but I was approached by a few singles I wasnt into. So back to what I meant by needing luck, if you're single and want to get in on someone's wife, you'd have to find a couple where the guy likes watching his wife getting banged by someone else. Most married men want something in return from a guy, in the form of another girl to play with, if he's going to let his wife go off with another dude.

Even though I didn't get lucky, I still had fun and if I was able to stay for at least another day, my chances might have been greater. I might've been a little awkward too since this was my first time in such an environment. There's easier ways and places to get laid so I wouldn't bet the farm here. The pass isn't worth $250 in my opinion, but with the presentation, the cost pretty much becomes similar to an average excursion. If you are single and have a free day in Cancun, this isn't a bad place to hang out for a day.

I wouldnt be too surprised if you thought about or want to come back after experiencing a day pass. If I'm still single next time vacation rolls around, I might try to stay a few days. But if I'm not, I probably won't be back. Hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions!

My 2 cents:

You were looking to score, no field goals !! With theoretically my wife or another of my new or old friends wives. But when you aren’t “single” anymore you “probably won’t be back”. Even though you said you had fun.

You probably shouldn’t come back, you might like a place I’ve heard of outside Reno though.

Luckily for them (not you) those singles “you weren’t into” didn’t waste more of their time on you.

Really? Exactly where does THAT line work? (Ok, so yes, I used it once, but where does it work for guys?) I would guess the strike out rate would be very high.

 

I do like the straightforward honesty about in the post and his intentions. Maybe a little crass, but it was informative. Single guys need to have an "A" game.

Now, us married, hooked-up guys just have to have charm, sense of humor, panache, suave, perhaps some cash, and some good bedroom mojo.
