Had a meeting with Paty (President of Original Resorts) and Nicolas (GM of TTR) last week. Asked this same question re the Sky Bar and they said it hadn't been decided yet. They are usually honest with me. Feeling I got was it wont be restricted to just Premier, maybe only open at certain times for certain events. Just imho.
personally I think if they restrict it to premier it would be a very negative thing. everybody partying and being topless together is what makes Temptation.
Yeah they had every opportunity to push it would be Premier only during our sales presentation as I was gushing about sky. And instead they said we haven’t been told and we don’t know. I appreciate that they were not doing anything possible to get a sale. Wasn’t a bad experience.
Kyle, I love your trip reports. I am so jealous that you guys have been to the new TTR twice. And SO HAPPY you guys have had AMAZING trips! Now maybe you'll quit big-leaugue-ing us for Pearl all the time?? ;-) XOXO

Have been waiting for the right time to post as to not hi-jack any of Jen and Kyle's posts. Like everyone else, we love reading your posts. We have been living through your reviews and pictures until we get there next month. We met Jen and Kyle a few year's ago at Pearl. Started chatting on the Yahoo group ahead of time and met when we were there. Still amazed by the Penthouse party. Knew it was going to be a great party when we followed the butler with a sheet pan of jello shots up the stairs... Just a quick story as to what makes them so memorable: The lights went out completely at Pearl one night before the disco opened. Pitch black and scary dark. Without hesitation, a short walk back and forth from Jen and Kyle's room produced a cell phone and speaker, loaded with EDM music, and glow sticks for anyone who dared to stay behind at the bar. The bartenders were using the glow sticks to see the bottles and continued their pour. The party continued hard until the lights finally came on hours later. When you read that it is all about the people you meet that make up the resort, that is 100% correct. So, if you are lucky enough to have met Jen and Kyle, you know exactly what I mean.
"Why would I pay $236 plus the buy in rate which worked out to be $80 something a night and lock myself into the resort for 20 years? Just didn’t make sense." Exactly. This is the part that I dont understand, thast people dont get it. You are actually paying twice. $236 plus $80 =$316 a night. BTW, we just booked the 3rd week of April for $240 a night ($206 + tax) on a discount site.
Hey guys! Thanks for the kind words. Hope you are well. Ha we often think back fondly on that trip. Those penthouse parties and the power outage sure made things interesting But like you said it is all about the fun, interesting people you meet. That was a great group!
