Emmm.... I'm just under that... Never mind no boobs showing, it will mean holding your glass out of the water all the time! I think I am going to have to research the seats and or ledges in the new pool!
Lots of people partied around the edges and a large party group by the main steps (it looked most wild there my week). I don't think the water depth is as bid a concern as some people are thinking about. Once you get there, I am sure this be way less of an issue as it is on print before a trip.
I imagine if they wanted, they could put in a false floor on the bottom of the entire pool. Some sort of clear "floor" was mentioned once. We put a man on the moon, around 50 years ago, raising the floor doesn't sound that tough. I'm sure it will never happen though. I would concentrate more energy on them heating the pool to a reasonable temperature. It's going to be interesting to hear trip reports thru this winter.
Don't say that!!!! Our first year the water temperature was nice -2nd week in December.... Next year, first week in December, I was cold more than once and spent a lot of time on the pool stools or hovering around a heating vent!!! I will let you know what it is like in just over a week's time!!! Eckkk!!! Need to pack!!! Lol....
adding the false floor would have the added benefit of making it easier to heat as well. I really think they should do this...the exhibitionist aspect of the topless above the water was an important part of the party imho. also, having to holding drinks higher than center chest level gets old real quick
Had the travel agency make some calls yesterday about heating the pool. The response from the resort was that they never have, and never will, heat the pool because they are in a "warm destination". Swimsuit next week, but sounds like wetsuit might be in order for new years. haha
They could essentially build a deck in the bottom of the pool, or at least parts of it. And while they are at it replace those damn seat pods with the sharp edges that bruise everybodies thighs or at least put a soft cushion on them. I am wondering if the larger mass of water will fall to uncomfortably cool temperatures as the weather cools though.
