Check it out! Looks like the author of the article was there the same time we were for the grand reopening, but based on her description I’m not sure it’s a completely accurate. Don’t like how she insinuated the Golden Rule of No Means No isn’t always followed. Just my .02!

Sounds like she may have spent a couple of days at TTR and then a couple at Hedo and got her stories intertwined due to her alcohol consumption.

 

Wait, are you insinuating Cosmo is not a credible source of information? Damn you, way to burst our bubble!

Did she paint an inaccurate picture? YES. Did she paint an accurate picture? YES. It's a pretty hard place to define, especially depending on the circle you roll with, the differences day to day...or even hour to hour. I feel like with a few sentences left out, it would have been perfect. Would I provide this article to anyone on the fence the resort could be a little too much for them? NO. (PS. I really hope no one is using their boners as a periscope in the pool. Keep that shit rubbed up against someone or have someone sit on your lap)

 

I also am interested to hear what Steve has to say related to "everyone is naked" on the cruise and the "eat vodka-soaked gummy bears out of women’s vaginas". Obviously both not accurate. But guess any press is good press.

Also, she was pretty off with the millennial age group. I mean I am 35, and could go for some people people closer to my age and younger, but Elyse and I are typically on the younger end.

 

Just goes to show you can print anything, and someone will believe it!

 

Millennial is typically defined as those born between 1981 and 1997, so I do meet the criteria by a couple of years. I agree, I'm typically on the younger side of TTR visitor demographic; however, my guess is TTR wants to attract more Millennials, and that also so happens to be the target audience of Cosmo.

Of course they exaggerated the experience a bit. I assume the point of the article was to stir some controversy, experiencing this 'risque resort' for the first time. Wouldn't be all that interesting if all they wrote about was the everyday mundane. The penis thing did make me laugh though. Maybe all the drinking had her seeing things that weren't there. It was good that she did get across the friendliness of the people and 'nobody gives a shit' attitude - that's the selling point for me. If it does encourage more 'rule breakers' to the party, so be it - I'd rather be with the rule breakers than the prudes who book and don't enjoy the place any day.

 

What I got out of this article is now the place will be crawling with Hot Millennial Unicorns looking for us!!!!! haha

Actually not a bad article, some things were not that accurate. after 4 boobs cruises, I still have not seen vodka gummie bears being eaten that way. But Steve's Cancuncare did get props!!

The Sexy Pool got a makeover in the renovation and many of the regulars told me they were not happy that the water level had been raised so that most women’s breasts were now under water.
