Going to Cancun - What Hotel Are You Going To?????

Living in a conservative, rural area in Scotland, where Cancun is becoming popular.....

We are being asked what hotel you are going to.....

Up to now, the, I can't remember, it was Cancun, and cheap, worked.... but, it is now our third time, so that excuse is wearing thin.....

If we actually told anyone where we are going.... they would think we are rampant nymphomanics! Lol....

Is anyone else in the same situation? And, if so, what do you do? I know I could lie and say another hotel, but, I am not a liar and.... could get caught out by details if that they have been at the hotel I lie about......

 

“Rampant nymphomanic” you say???? Hmmmm....well, it could be contagious and unfortunately the cure is a steady injection of...oh wait, I’m off track now. Actually the wife and I are from a very conservative part of West Houston ourselves. We sort of struggled with this too. We decided on the plane ride home that, F-it, we’re grown, we raised our kids, and our true friends would most definitely understand. And guess what, they did. Have not lost one friend because of it. In fact, all my golf/biker friends are jealous! wife’s friends are interested as well. We basically tell them, it’s not what you think it is, but it’s more fun than you’ll ever have. In fact we met two couples this past weekend at a local festival that vacation at La Isla Muertes evey year and when we told them how we visited the island (hint - it rhymes with Noobs Bruise) they “thought” they knew all about TTR from all the other people they talked to but never actually talked to someone from TTR, they literally had a lot of questions about the place. And their view was nowhere close to what the actual truth is (of course). So, now we have four new friends that are very interested in going with us next summer. I guess the bottom line is, the wife and I need only approval and support from each other and when it’s all said and done it’s our opinion of each other that counts.

And one of my opinions is, my wife’s boobies flat out ROCK in the sexy pool!

We just tell everybody, I hope they think the worse and we are at it morning noon and night, prove there is life in the old dogs yet. I think the real truth would shock them, about my angelic wife lol

Ironically we once told friends we went to Temptation resort before we were even doing any ‘bad things’ ha on vacation. The judgement was crazy. Questions prying. Jokes annoying. Some people just can’t handle it.

Now that we do ‘bad things’ sometimes on vacation we say Riu Resort. Not worth the hassle for us. Understand it all depends on your normal life at home.

 

Responding to the O/P... I've taken to just telling people the truth. You sort of have to when you've been to the same place 3, maybe 4 times... to say nothing of our 21! Well, it'll be 21 after we finish up this year counting our two trips to new-TTR.

The way we really do it is to tell the truth, then we make sure to tell them if they get that "I just smelled something weird" look, is to correct their thinking. Things like this get said:

"No, it's not a swingers resort. Some people ther are into that, but some are some people down at the [pub/bar/nightclub/disco/grocery store/post office/hospital], you just be nice and watch people."

"It's not naked, c'mon. You can be topless on any beach in Mexico, this place also allows it up at the pool. That's just easier."

"It's a fun and safe good time. Sort of like going ona an adult spring break." (This one is Stacia's favorite.)

 

We went the the Golden Parnassus our first two times, and TTR on our last trip. So we just use GP as our destination. We’re not a vacation picture, or really story telling family, so it doesn’t really come up. Friends, I tell some TTR, Meri tells everyone GP. Truth will likely come out sometime, but don’t see it as a big deal.

I actually witnessed more graphic sex at GP anyway, so not sure what we’re hiding, except the constant toplessness, which is nice by the way.

 

Just had that conversation at my office, I proudly said TEMPTATIONS, bet they will look that one up, I don't mind them thinking we are crazy.

 

I literally tell everyone. I don't care what people think, and I don't lie about anything, pretty much ever.

But I certainly understand people that have to, and their circumstances are different then mine. So I am not saying the way I am is the right way to be, it's just what works in my situation.

This past trip I actually put more pictures up on facebook than normal. Nothing bad just all they various theme parties, people I am friends with, and SOME of the shenanigans we were doing. I heard more this time than ever that because I those pics, way more people want to join us on upcoming trips. They built an image in their heads that wasn't accurate, and I guess only ever posting like 4 PG pics total fed into that false assumption.

Funny side story: My mother-in-law knows where we go, but she likes to have selective hearing. She looked it up after this past 5th trip, and said to my parents "They have a Sex pool". Even though though many times I have called it the Sexy pool to her. My mom just said to her "Yea I don't think that is what it is, but whatever if that's their thing. Not my business". I just find it funny her mom thinks we just go down there to have sex with many strangers in the middle of the pool for 10 days twice a year. Elyse..what a disappointing daughter.
