Review From Our First TTR Trip!

Thank you! I can’t inagine anyone leaving without having had the time of their life!

 

Great trip report. Welcome to the family. Our biggest regret from our first trip was that it was only for 5 days and we had a late afternoon arrival. We've never made that mistake again.

 

Thanks so much for this. As newbies going in less than a month (woohoo!), Facebook has sure put a damper on things... there is just so much negativity. So glad you guys had such a wonderful first trip! Any special notes of interest for other newbies?

 

Ignore the negativity. I read it too before we left but chose to see TTR through positive eyes and just have fun! Were there things that could be better? Of course, but why let it overshadow all the greatness? Any “new” place is going to have to get through kinks, and in fact, we saw some of the things people had complained about before we arrived, fixed while we were there.
We’ve been to places with stellar 5 star ratings and experienced things we didn’t care for but didn’t let it get to us. One size never fits all, but ultimately it’s what you make of it!

My best advice is to go with an open mind, let go of your inhibitions, meet and mingle with everyone, dress for the theme nights, and take 4 Advil before you pass out at night so you can get up and do it all over again the next day! Hope this helps!

 

Thanks again! We are both really looking forward to it. Trips are definitely all what you make of them... in this scenario, it might be better being a newbie to not have an "old" temptations to compare to. The resort looks beautiful and everyone who is non drama (like here!) seems wonderful! We can't wait for a different kind of trip

I wish people would quit asking me where we stayed! I look like an idiot saying things like, “I can’t remember the name. Royal something or other.” I’m sure they’re thinking, really?! Who stays somewhere for 10 days and can’t remember the name? Dumb blonde!
