2020/2022. I think I'm safe-sort of. I can attest to truth behind the old joke that those who use condoms as birth control are called parents. Any calendar reference inside of 30 days to being home gets me excited. It's about time to start counting sleeps (22).
I don't get the joke. Thought using a condom prevented you from becoming a parent? I must be doing something wrong for the last 18 years. (you put them on your penis right?)
The point / joke being that parents use condoms because they already have kids and don’t want any more.
Ahhh I'm an idiot. I don't know how I didn't get that, must have just read it wrong. hahaha. Yep that's me
Hmmm. I'm sure it seemed hilarious at the time. We were out very late entertaining a visiting lecturer. Apparently drunk me is also anxious to return to TTR soon and posts things. I heard that a long time ago from some older baby boomers. They were clearly referring to reliability. The published rate is 85% effective, mostly due hasty misuse.
First thing is, is that we don’t drink milk so it can spoil lol, but the real main thing that gets us excited is, is that we already have all our clothes and bathing suits picked out for the week we’re there, and just waiting for us to load them in the suitcases when the time comes, and we still have 17 days to go until we leave! Now that’s what gets us excited! You can’t tell we’re so excited to get there can you lol? #ITSTAKINGFOREVER
