I'm guessing promotional spectacular. This is their chance to shine and they're gunning for it. I (like I'm guessing most people here) have no insight into how the renovation was funded, but I would assume it was a fine balance of risk/reward like any business venture, and they're obviously inviting investors to their 'grand opening', both to reassure investment in TTR Cancun and for potential investors for their future plans. Remember TTR is a business, and they're expanding as well. You can read the apprehension in that memo they've sent around, and I don't blame them. Get ready for professional shots (photos not drinks lol), boozing and schmoozing! Wanting everyone to wear white totally gave it away, they're after those photos and videos that'll say "we're sophisticated and sexy". I don't think it'll be as wild as the closing party, not until after the distinguished guests have gone to bed anyway. Should be a lot of fun though, I'm guessing everyone will be on point that day/night so those already there likely will experience TTR service as good as it will ever get.
Either way, there gearing up for something big. Hoping it is a great time! And I must say - having the sexy pool closed and transforming the quiet pool into the sexy pool made for an amazing time! It was totally packed and we had a blast! Looking forward to tomorrow. This is what it looks like as they are preparing for the grand opening...
