Um... the magical no monthly visitor pill?

Hey, y'all... have you guys and girls heard of... I think the name is norethindrone, a hormonal contraceptive that has the actual effect of blocking the start of a ... I'll use the euphemism... "period.

Take a pill for 3 days before... no period. Stay on pill during period time, say if you had vacation scheduled.. period is delayed..

Until you stop the pil, which you can only take for 10 days I think.

Any of you ladies used this? Advice? Got vacation coming up, and after counting the days... then combining this info with the crabby way that a certaoin ;ady acts when her "vacation is wasted and can't get naked at all" I thought I'd ask.

Is she on the pill already?

 

My wife has used it several times, but Im pretty sure she has to start it sooner than 3 days before. She has already started it for our trip to TTR in 3 weeks. But, it does work.

 

I just skip the "off week" of my regular pills and I don't have one for that month. I've been on a few different brands of pills over my years, and my doc has always said this was an option for any monthly birth control pills.

 

That's where I was going w my question above.

 

Not a huge concern for me. Elyse and I don't "do it" on when we are on vacation. It seems pretty odd to have relations outside of your own home bedroom; where we normally do it with the lights off, our pajamas still on, and only ever in the missionary position.

Ummm, if that’s all true, then explain about the time you joined the mile high club doing it missionary position in the airplanes bathroom ?????

 

I took it the last two times at Temptation. From what I recall, you just take it before due until the end of your holiday.

No side effects that I experienced, kept things at bay, all good! I probably took it for around ten days each time and had no problems getting it from my go on prescription....

Ps, just to clarify, I am not normally on the pill, just use it for holidays to delay things if necessary. I suspect this is also the case with your wife....
