If you're short, it's too deep. On our trip, someone screwed up, turned the wrong valve and drained about a foot of water out of the pool. That was the best day!!!
Why did they make it so much deeper? If you're too tall, it's really not that hard to crouch down in water if you want to be in more, but it's pretty much impossible to make yourself taller. Tons of women are near the 5' height, my wife included. The old pool was nipple height, perfect. Now it's going to be just below the neck. I wonder how it compares to other pools in Cancun for depth?
Whoa... that's going to be an issue... Stacia "says" she's 5'1" but I know better. She might be 5'1" in her shoes, so the water in the pool will be up to her neck.... So, we'll be at the swim-up bar. Maybe On the swim-up bar would be more apt. Personally, I like the sides of the pool, so being 6'3" I should still be good.
There is a step up near the swim up bar I think?hoping my memory isn’t failing. It has been a month and a half now. Plus they have the fun holes and the raised area around the fun holes. Jen is 5’4 and it wasn’t a big deal. Yes it covers the boobies more but come on there are boobies everywhere.
He deeper pool won't be that big of a deal. There will be plenty if walking around boobs, and everything else. More concerned about people saying the hot tub isn't heated at all. How crazy is that?
Ok. I've been kind of pissy about that on here and Facebook tonight, I'll blame it on the brandy I'm drinking.... We were at the GP a couple years ago and their hot tub was "broke" while we were there. Nobody ever got in it, it was so cold. Seems like an unforced error to not have a hot tub facing the ocean. They are simple to maintain, we have had one for years,and definetly should be part of the package. Glad you said it was heated when you were there. As I type this, I think this is my normal pattern. Get nervous about things that could go bad as the vacation gets closer.
MY CONCERN IS NOT BOOBS ITS HOLDING YOUR DRINKS AT FACE LEVEL ALL DAY. I WILL NOT GET MY CURLS IN AND WILL HAVE TO MAKE IT UP AT NIGHT!! GOT TO GET THAT WORKOUT IN LOL!!!!
