Hello all from TTR. We arrived here 9am this morning so here is your chance to ask questions anout the new remodeled TTR. We will do our best to search out the answers for you. So far it's been great. Yes a room change was done when not happy with the first one and yes the tiles are VERY slippery all over the resort. So here is your chance to ask aboutt anything regarding TTR. We will check back on a regular basis and try and get answers for you.
Does there seem to be improvement in construction, issues, etc, since first trip reports? Have a great trip: )
Hi! We arrive tomorrow, we are newbies, and we don't know what to expect. I would like some recommendations and if there is an area for cigars/cigarettes. Is the bash floor ok for heels? And what about pool hours? Thanks for your time!
There was some scaffolding set up in the lobby when we first arrived in the morning then by mid afternoon ot was gome. They are doing some work still in the main building still but that won't impact your stay.
Smoking is allowed pretty much everywhere. They have ashtrays on the bar counters and tables in all key areas. Some people were smoking cigars beside the pool but a few steps back from everyone to be respectful. Cigars are also sold in the gift shop. For heals you will be safe in the Bash area. Only place to watch at Bash is the washrooms inside and the white tile. Outside it was a different texture and it is ok. Side note watch for stairs that blend in with the tile. Seems obvious but we saw many people have this issue in the check in area in front of the bar.
In your room fridge they have Dos Equis and Tecate. At the sexy pool they also have Coors Light and one other Mexican amber beer. They may have more I will find out when they open. It's 730 am and Tequila seems to be the drink of choice at this time in the morning.
Found out a little more on the construction, grand opening is Oct 16 so yes there resort is not completely finished the remodel. In our 24 hours here so far it has had no impact. Just bring earplugs for the 3 am music.
