Just checked for our normal 10-12 days in March - April. Right now we are priced out. Looks very nice Just out of our price bracket..
When we first started looking at prices late last year, they were insane. We booked our trip for the end of September in May, by that time the prices were basically back to normal. You may just be too far out and have to let it get closer. What site were you looking to book on?
I hear this often and I'm surprised. The first two times we visited we stayed in garden rooms. Our third trip this November would have cost somewhere between our first and second stays had we chosen a garden room again. (This is traveling from New York. I know Europe seems to be much higher and the Canadian dollar has not been strong of late.)
When we first booked thru expedia which was the cheapest we found we paid 2500 in the seduction beach front and flight with insurance and transport. We canceled not sure then we rebooked and now we are paying 2750 and we upgraded to the tower room. We are staying 4 nights in February. When I looked today our room has gone from the low 4 hundred to over 600. Just keep watching for the deals.
Everythin I have foundfor us from Reno NV for a garden room has been right around 4000 for 8 days. That price is not horrible if the resort has better food and room now.
Maybe offset the cost by staying say 8-9 days as opposed to 10-12...Being at TTR for 8 instead of 12 beats being at home hands down.
Not that I didn't believe you, but I had to check for myself. We always use Expedia, and for that time period it's running double what we would normally pay. Maybe it's too far out like others have said. But we did book for this October and only paid a little higher than in past years. I hope the prices come down for you.
We are arriving in 11 days for a week and our rate was about the same as last September. Now, a week in April or may is more than 5 times what we paid in May last year. We could do a week in Monte Carlo for less!
