Great honest review. Kind of bummed about the pool water height I am only 5'1 and have a feeling I am going to have a lot of water in my face.
@Jen&Kyle , On the entertainment staff, I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, I loved just about all of them. Kinda like my kids. Just difficult to "party" around my kids! Laura, from England was Fantastic! I really enjoyed her. All of them meshed well with me accept the Mexican guy with the Mohawk. He called me "BORING" one day because I didn't want to participate in one of the competitions. You don't call the guests "BORING"! He and I didn't mesh well after that! Also, anyone who knows me, knows I'm definitely NOT boring!! LOL
Better than BALLS! LOL No, seriously the pool isn't too bad, but it will take some getting used to and there is a large step up area by the bar stools you can stand on that will lift you out of the water a little more. The bigger issue was holding your drink up high enough to not get pool water in it.
Yeah I mean the pool is huge. There is the step up area near the bar, the fun holes and the very shallow area around the fun hole so there are options. Those of us 6'3 like the cooler deeper water ha
We got to know Pedro well. He was jens favorite. She got A LOT of attention from him. I am used to it so no big deal. All in good fun. But sure she wouldn't of liked that type of comment either. I wonder if they are feeling the pressure to get people involved. The first two days it seemed like plenty volunteered and were involved. And keep in mind the pool of possible participants was smaller w 25-40% occupancy
Great report, Angie. Honest review of the status of the "new" TTR. Sorry to hear that you had the issues you had, that sucks. I expected it to be a trainwreck, which it did turn out to be. However, apparently even in a trainwreck the bar car can have a party a-goin' so things can be tolerated. I hope they have the Jacuzzi knobs by HNH week! I plan on having the usual private parties in there/on the patio etc., and it's no fun without the Jacuzzi filled with bubbles! Bubbles make for fantastic pics, y'all.
