Newbies here!

Hey there! So, my husband and I are planning our belated honeymoon and going to be staying in Playa Del Carmen/ Cancun for a week-ish. We are curious to stay at Temptation resort for a couple of nights and see what we think. I am a total exhibitionist so this resort is very appealing to me. We are late twenties/early thirties and totally new to this type of environment in the public. Super nerdy and I'm a raging extrovert while he is a bit introverted. Any advice or things we should bring or do? We will probably be there December 15-20ish this year! Would be cool to meet some fun people.

 

Welcome to the group, and I guarantee you will meet some fun people. We used to stay at Playa Del Carmen every year and you will enjoy your time there. However, I think if you go to Temptation for only a couple nights you will feel a little short changed. There is a reason MANY, MANY of us are already planning our next trip to TTR before we get home from the current one. And you sound like the type of couple that will fit in perfectly. Absolutely no worries about fitting in, and the exhibitionist part is perfect also, but your husband won't feel out of place either. Our advice... Pack little. You won't need it here. Bring your sexist swimsuits and maybe pick up one or two that you swear you would never wear in public but would like to. Get a pair or two of square cut suits for him. SUPER comfortable, totally cool at TTR. Search for suits on Yandy.com, Malibu Strings, Dangerous Curves.... When you're at the resort dress up for a couple of the theme nights also. It's a blast! Check out member photo albums on here for ideas. You're about to have a vacation to remember! Spend extra days at TTR and one or two at Playa Del Carmen. Hope we meet up someday!

We found it really useful to join the group on here or Facebook thatbis for the time you are going. Being our first time it was nice to get to the resort and see some faces that you have virtually met. It also helped at night when partying. There is a saying "people don't give a shit what you're wearing or doing" (as long as you're not offensive). Kick back and do what you thought you would never do, there are so many great people it's a total blast.

Hey thanks for the advice and reply! That's a good idea about spending a longer time here and then shorter at Playa, I'll see what the hubby thinks and what kind of deals I can find haha.
Since I am voluptuous it can be hard to find bathing suits that even contain me so I'm looking forward to being in that kind of environment and will have to get some lingerie for sure, theme nights sounds cool !

 

Yeah the less contained, the better at TTR. Like others have said, it sounds like TTR is the place for you and once you go, your not gonna want to go anywhere else. Definitely see if you can spend more than a couple days there, you wont regret it.

 

My wife has been purchasing her swim bottoms at swimsuits for all. They have the best selection of sexy suits for plus size women.

 

I'm just excited that my wife will finally have a place to wear all of those dresses that I buy for her from Wicked Temptations that she can't wear out in public lol.

On our first trip we didn't anticipate how sexy it would be around the pool, and Stephanie didn't bring a lot of sexy bottoms. After no more than ten minutes into our first day she just ended up wearing her Victorias thongs after she trimmed the liner out. It worked perfectly and many other women have done the same on their first trip. Wear whatever you feel sexy in. Your husband will be the only one caring about what you wear. Everyone else will just be happy to meet the two of you.
