Just take it easy, "considerateonem" contemplate, reflect, consider your surrounding's, get your bearing's, enjoy your first day, however, following, most likely, a couple of nights poor sleep prior to your vacation, the anticipation and excitement of arrival, a long flight, or two,or even three, the heat, the adrenaline rush.. the beautiful surroundings, and people,...the alcohol..!.........stay safe, take care, have fun...avoid the first day curse..do not become an unconscious casualty within hour's of touchdown....it happen's..!... .slainte mo charaid.
It appears @philandmargaretscotland has adequately summed up the first day curse! Just be sure to pace yourself and take it easy. You don't have to drink EVERY shot offered to you...although it is a great way yo make friends quickly. Recall TTR is sort of Spring Break fro adults. But we are adults and should know a little by now. Don't want to be down for the count the first night and certainly don't want to waste your precious vaca time at TTR sick and hung over in your room. Be sure to drink plenty of water and electrolytes. If you search the forum there are several conversations on the first day curse, some hilarious stories, and also one on best hangover cures. If you cannot find them advise and I will dig them up and point you to them.
