We are curious about this too. We've enjoyed the TTR vibe immensely up until now and are naturally wary of any changes. I guess we'll have to see what the future brings, but it seems obvious that any move 'upscale' will have some changes associated with it, whether we like it or not.

I thought about this one today before responding. Trying to figure out the best way to explain. Here is what I came up with. Not saying one is better than the other. Just sharing my observations.

So the old TTR I thought there was a lot of cursing and yelling and screaming type humor. Again nothing wrong with that but I found it to be more shock and less awe. Get a laugh by yelling a lot of curse words and saying things that make people uncomfortable or that you don't normally hear in regular life. Hell I laughed at a lot of it but after a while it lost some quality for me maybe because it no longer was shocking and eventually just became a bunch of yelling? Came off as raunchy because you are using what would be considered vulgar language (not vulgar to me to be clear), and curse words and sexual innuendo to get your laughs. I admit I still laughed a lot at it and enjoyed how the guests would add their twists. But the reality was whether it was entertaining to me depended on the guests after a while and not the staff.

The new TTR entertainment was more whitty, more clever, more seduction. Resulting in a more sexual feel. The entertainment staff is numerous. Not one guy working by himself yelling but a team of people, all very very attractive. Seducing the crowd with sensual dance. Flirting with people around the pool. Adding comments to encourage not ridicule.

I will use a game example that some form of which existed at both the old ttr and new ttr to help illustrate the difference. Showing that it isn't that necessarily the games have changed but that the delivery and approach has changed.

I guess the old game would be Mrs Temptation contest and the new game Wednesday was a ladies sexy dance contest. Old ttr the ladies would have to do some sexual positions with a blow up doll or maybe a gentleman volunteer. Jj or whomever then yells remarks and screams as the do the positions. Then they run around gathering men's swimsuits.

The new game they sat 8 ladies in chairs. They are surrounded by the staff. Mix of very attractive ladies and jen says very attractive men (someone say hello to Pedro for her lol). There is a lot of touching and flirting helping to get the ladies worked up. One by one they are choose to do their sexual positions on one of the attractive entertainment staff. The staff helps them as they go. Making sexual touches. Caressing etc. The mc is encouraging, giving compliments. Not yelling at them to embarrass them or make them part of some joke. Sexy not raunchy. They still do the sexual positions but it feels different. Then at the end they do a sensual dance.

Throughout the day the entertainment staff flirts and tries to add to the environment. The music is more of what you would hear in an adult night club instead of at a football game or BBQ.

At night the shows are very choreographed. Very little clothing. Lots of seduction. Lots of light touching. No yelling. No screaming. No cursing. Again adult night club type music vs neighborhood bar type of music.

I didn't see the bar but when we asked for mimosas or goose and club the waiter got them quickly so there must be something near by

I think you did a great job with your explanation. While I always enjoyed the "old" way and was never offended, this new take sounds too me like it will be even better. Can't wait to see for myself on 9/10.

The "old way" was one thing that made my wife hesitant about planning a trip here. Primarily the raunchy aspect of it. After reading your comments, she's even more excited about our May/June trip. Thank you for taking the time to put some thought into that answer. It is much appreciated.
