Party is on. It was hard to leave. Seemed like double the amount of people at Bash last night too. Really fun crowd. I think they are slightly under 50% occupied right now but all rooms they have available are occupied. Not sure how they are going to get 80-90% of the rooms ready by Saturday since they are expecting that many people. Fingers crossed for those arriving Saturday. Someone joked about the workers getting distracted. I don't take pics during games and don't have many of the party atmosphere as I don't want people who don't want to be online in my pics. But yesterday jen and 7 other ladies entered a sexy dance / sex move contest. And basically almost every worker on the tower, Bash Apple structure and surrounding buildings must of had a break scheduled at exactly the same time as they all stopped what they were doing to watch the contest
The buffet and She does have restrooms inside. The seafood does not. The Asian does not but it is right outside. Not sure if one was added to Italian as we didn't visit that one. There was a manager meeting going on during our tour. And did She and Seafood for dinner.
Last trip we didn't spend any time at all in the chairs, and there is more now, and they do have some for lounging in the water, so I'll consider it a trade off. I thought I saw some pictures of reclining chairs at the quiet pool? Yes/no?
The pool is the best part of the resort. And kills the sexy pool. So much better. It is huge but plenty of intimate areas to mingle. And definitely not skinny so the pics must not be doing it justice. I mean there have to be 40+ pool bar seats inside the pool and another 40+ outside the pool. No swing seats. I think someone asked about that earlier. Every day they have been playing pool volleyball. They string it from the basketball nets. The pool game maybe takes up 20% of the pool or less. The sexy games they do right in the center. With the stage being where the pool bar ends on that side or directly across from where the pool bar ends where they have a gap with no chairs. Kind of where you can also enter the buffet restaurant but there are 3 or 4 huge sliding doors to enter so you can enter elsewhere when a game is going on. One thing I liked about the old sexy pool is you could pretty much see everything going on at once. With this pool it is so big you really can't see who is at the other end. But that problem is easily solved...get in the pool and wander and mingle. The chairs in the pool are plentiful and actually very comfortable. You can move them to adjust for game viewing or sun. If shade is your thing there are plenty of umbrellas. And depending on the time of day there are always shaded parts of the pool bar. Also the end near the quiet pool has a covering and is shaded all day. Another thing I really liked is part of the pool is pretty deep. Jen is 5'3 and could stand but it was probably 4 and half feet deep. Maybe more. Also there are several areas to enter so lots of steps. Don't have to hop out. Long answer but the pool is the aspect of the resort that will first make you say WOW. So wanted to do the description justice.
Oh and I was told to keep a few things a secret but I just can't resist on this one and well frankly I am not good at secrets anyway. Currently they have the dj in the corner. He has been really good. Lots of variety but definitely more of a lean on modern club / house party music than the old TTR. But the secret is the Apple that they are building on the edge of Bash is actually going to be a crazy ass dj stage that spins and lights up and will be used for both Bash and the sexy pool as it kind of hovers over it. Kind to be an amazing party setup. I mean some of this stuff just blows your mind. Where they are spending their time and money just proves they are trying to make this THE party resort in Cancun.
Ironically when I tried to respond to this the other night I couldn't because my wifi went out lol. But besides for that it has been mostly great. In the room, lobby, sexy pool and restaurants
We are newbies planning our first trip in November. Thank you so much for the reporting your are doing here. The vibe that you described is EXACTLY what we were hoping for when we started to consider TTR. From the looks of the pictures they are nailing the sexy vibe throughout the resort. Can't wait to get there and experience it ourselves.
