It's been a long 11 months but we're finally there, with the hotel re-opening tomorrow. I would like to express my huge thanks to everyone who supported our forum community by visiting and posting during the hotel's downtime. Yes, even the "armchair engineers" who kept things lively at times. Haven't seen them for a while though, anyone know where they went? I was pretty confident the community could ride out the quiet phase, but have to admit there were times I started to doubt myself as the months wore on. Especially after the switch to the new forum system in February, to make things more mobile friendly and future proof. A bit of a gamble but better to do it then than now. Traffic dropped quite a bit, partly due to the user experience change and partly due to little new information or pics coming out meaning nothing much to chat about. We lost a few regulars I think, but we have gained a lot of new folks too. A little like I think the hotel will turn out. We're now finally back to the level of traffic we had before the hotel closure and with tons of first hand info to come I think we'll be surpassing those levels very soon. Please continue to do your best to post info, observations, questions, trip reports and pics no matter how trivial they may seem. There's a whole host of people looking for that info. Thanks once again and I hope to see you all at the new TTR and/or on the Boobs Cruise very soon.
I never log of this site..I love checking in and reading a few post each day or two..keep up the great work.
I'm one of your newer converts. Thank you very much for your time and effort. We'll be there August 18-28. I have a custom designed TTR t-shirt for your wife. Look us up . . . . you probably won't recognize me, but you will be looking at my wife. FYI, recently I have been getting logged off the site (cell phone) after a few minutes, it didn't used to do that. Jonathan
Thanks for being a part of the community. We'll be around 18/19/20. Look forward to seeing you there. We are pretty easy to find
Steve - thanks for the great job during the downtime. I think the changes to the site have been great - I really like the cleaner more modern look and feel. While I was not a vocal arm chair quarterback, I must admit that I personally did not think they would make the opening date. Even 2 or 3 months ago, I looked at the pictures and really didn't think they would make it. Or if they did, it was going to much less complete than it now seems it will be. Clearly, I was wrong and now I am sorry I didn't book for the opening. But I will be there on September 10th - hopefully whatever incomplete construction there is now will be further along and all the kinks will be worked out by then. I am looking forward to lots of pics and commentary tomorrow and all week long. I hope you and Jannet have a great time this week and that your boobs cruises are a huge success!!
Thanks Len, they have done an amazing job. Given the scale of the project and the time available the project has been nothing short of fantastic. As you might have read, I never really doubted them I'll certainly do my best on info and pics tomorrow. After that I might lie a little low online and try and enjoy our trip. It's been a while.
We're so excited to check out the changes. We're going to Hedo in December because we couldn't get a room the week we wanted to go. But it looks like we will taking a mini Vacay in March for some UV therapy. Can't wait to see the crew again.
