Finally just got an answer from the resort on opening time on the 15th. 7am!!!! Woo hoo. Looks like we are pulling an all nighter at Desire on the 14th so we can arrive nice and early on the 15th.
I am sure that everyone is going to get along and party it up, so don't worry about not making friends!!!! Just tough to bullshit with people at this point in time. There's no "Remember the time" stories with this group just yet....

That would be a great thread on the forum, " Remember the Time" in honor of the old TTR. Unfortunately this will be my first trip so I cant play. LOL You also my want to keep those times a secret as well and not post on in a forum. HAHA
I understand the excitement of being the first to break through the door! It's like for some people being the first person to buy a new I-phone. But, honestly, I think it is a bit irrational. If you arrive at 6/7 am you of course would be greeted with smile, hugs, Champagne etc...but after initial excitement is gone, you might need to wait for room, you will be sleepy etc etc....But maybe it is worth the initial excitement. Just considering myself - to wake me up at 6 am on a day off should be a very serious damn reason (a war or something like that )
It's our 2nd TTR but there are several going that was there last august but we didn't introduce ourselves but hope to this time and with this all star cast of TTR vets that are going it should be one hell of a party kind of like and all star party of sorts! So bring your party and we look forward to meeting y'all at the new TTR
