Is the sexy pool still like swimming in a vat of hot oil?

Hoping that with it being so much larger it won't be quite as hot.

 

You're exaggerating right? Is the water really that hot?

 

Depending on your time of year, the water can get very hot (and I'm sure this is the case at many other resorts with popular pools). With all the people, and just the high temperatures in general, it has been very warm in my experience and I have mostly traveled in May and Sept. The quiet pool is often a bit cooler and can be refreshing if you needed to try to cool down.

 

I am pretty confused now because I thought they had a Mexican restaurant listed on the main website. Now it isn't there. This place was the second lunch location. I believe it was Margaritas, but with a new name and remodel (making it air-conditioned). Sad to see it removed , maybe it won't be ready

 

I know by 3 PM in October it was quite warm.

 

Warmth of the pool totally depended on the time of year. We went in feb twice and were wishing it was heated. Resort said it was but it definitely was not. Too cold for us. Stopped going on feb. In October or may or August it had been plenty warm. Makes sense that a larger pool will be cooler. Good for may, August, October. Bad for feb unless it actually is heated this time and not that bull about the use of AC units effecting the heating of the pool

 

Right. My only experience is July. And it was hot. Didn't stop us from spending almost the entirety of every day in it, however.

 

Our only question is: "Is the vibe still intact?"

 

is there a rooftop dinning option in one of the restaurants.....

 

That is our prime mystery and we will be vigilantly searching for evidence, the minute the doors open in 8 days for our 25th TTR trip
