Love my Yeti...Use it daily. Only negative I can think of for this particular application (floating around in sexy pool for 8 to 14 hours a day ) is the default lid...it doesn't seal all the way on top like the bubba mug lids so if you get a big splash of pool water, you are guaranteed to get it in your drink...need to get a lid for my Yeti that actually seals.
Same here...out tumbler of choice for tailgating, etc. The have the best performance....freakin' keep ice for 24 hours. We have several other brands too but Yeti appears to be the best. We also purchased the slip on handles and straw hole lids. Of course you can always slip a wide straw through the drink hole lid too. The handles help avoid hand cramp from gripping the 32 oz all day and simple slip on and off.
So do all our "other" toys...well as much as possible. Hey the wife likes to bring an entire suitcase of shoes! Gotta save space somehow...
The lid itself is really tight, that's not the issue. I meant where you actually drink from is a hole that doesn't seal and pool water could get in. The Bubbas have those snap on things on a hinge that seal off the drink hole.
