I think on the Sky Bar 3.5, they are waiting to see how well it stays filled up or what type of traffic it has. The last thing they want to do is spend all of this money on some new feature that stays empty. If it appears that it isn't getting much use, I would image that they will open it to everyone.
I also imagine that for the first few months it will be a selling point for the premier peddlers.

 

The original drawing showed 10 floors, and it's only 7, so that makes sense that they are under budget, and time frame, so added this in.

 

Our late night ritual, going to miss that.

 

Kind of surprised that TTR posted on their Facebook page that the pool is quite large, and they encourage you to bring a float if you would like. Too many of those, could get in the way in a hurry.

 

It was always only going to be 7 floors from the beginning. The rendering drawing never had the correct amount of floors.

Yeah . . . . . could get in the way of security seeing what's really going on in the pool.

 

Pretty sure their banner in front of the hotel right now show 10 floors, and all of their concept pictures on their Facebook page show 10 floors, so it must have been thought about at one point.

 

Yeah this is where things were/are a little confusing. The renderings last year always showed more (10 story building), but the talk seemed to be more leaning towards a 7 story building with 3 of those levels being for party stuff, and 4 being strictly for rooms.

It seems like the room count was always the same from very early on, so it's just the the initial design video was never redone with the less floors and then added in the sky/top space. (which in my opinion was the way better way to go)

 

Looks like something I can safely do flips from! Might tone down the urge to do them off the building into the sexy pool, or off the balcony into the community Jacuzzi.

 

I'm sure it does as did all the pre pictures of the new TTR. It was talked about way back in this thread and Steve verified it was only going to be 7 floors from the beginning.
