Newbies

My wife and and I (mid 50's) will be first timers and looking to enjoy our 3 days Sept 1-3 and looking for any advice for newbies. Any idea what the theme nights will be for that weekend? Sounds like a fun place.

 

My guess is no theme nights for those nights. If I am not mistaken the resort re-opens after the 1 year remodel on Aug. 15th. So, I doubt you can get a room on Aug. 1 - 3....

If you can find an opening around Halloween I can tell you that it will be a fun time!

 

Thanks, It's actually Sept 1-3 instead of Aug. Had my dates wrong but we have reservations.

My advise is to extend to at least 5 days lol. 3 would just not be enough for me.

 

Yeah, we are actually staying at another resort from the 4th-10th. Like I said we are new and wanting to slowing see how things go at T, then I started reading all the posts and it sounds more exciting all the time. I just hope a mid 50's couple fits in, the I probably wish we'd just stayed.

 

Depending on the resort you go to after, you will wish you stayed. A lot of us book our next vacations while sitting at the Cancun Airport waiting to go home, because we miss TTR already.

Don't worry about fitting it, that's the beauty of TTR, EVERYONE fits in! Just get some shots, walk up to people, and start a conversation.

 

Yea I have never heard anyone say they were happy they stuck with their split resort plan (expect the people that split for Desire or a small split to stay on Isla a night or two)

 

Mid 50s? OMG people will think your so weird Trust me you will chat with everyone from early 20s to the mid 80s and everyone is accepted unless they are a douche.

 

What's wrong with 50s? I'm sure you won't be alone.
