A few questions as I am looking on Alpharooms. Terrible reviews on Facebook for this company, kind of worries me!!! I noticed the rooms are listed as "double" rooms. Is this meaning double occupancy? I'm hoping we don't wind up with two beds!! Has anyone had to cancel with them? If my travel agent finds better rates I want to book with her. However, the resort is booking fast and I don't want to miss the opportunity. Looking to book 12/4 - 12/8! I'm stuck! Looking forward to having some fun and meeting some of you!
We used them a few trips ago. At the time their price was without a doubt cheaper than anything around. Booked room via alpha and flights via American. We've also used Skoosh and direct with the hotel for rooms. Now almost always book via Travelocity get the package discount. Somehow they sell the flight dirt cheap when you package...
We booked with them for our upcoming trip 10/3 and have not seen any red flags. I don't think your travel agent is going to be able to come close to Alpharooms rates. We won't know for sure until we get there. There are several other threads about booking with them that are 99% positive. The saving are substantial. We usually book with Expedia but this time we had miles to use. If you bundle with any of the major travel sites it can be a big savings over booking separate air and resort.
Have you called the resort to ensure you got the room you booked for your travel dates? Thank you for the feedback! We wish to book separately to fly with Southwest, we do not wish to travel Spirit. Jet Blue and Delta are pricey.
We did not call the resort. I made our final payment yesterday and received our voucher from Alphrooms. I have no reason to doubt that our reservation is not good. The other thing I like about Alpharooms is that final payment is not due until about a month out. Expedia wants full payment at time of booking. I agree with you about Southwest.
I have used alpha rooms several times and have been very happy with them. Their website is a little wonky to get the right departure date but otherwise a okay. Request a King bed and also confirm when you're checking in that you want a king.
Yeah we have had positive experiences w alpharooms also. The room discriptions are a little odd and the date thing mentioned above is definitely a pain so double check it but we have found it to be one of the cheapest ways to book to just get in the door.
Used them many times and never a problem other than the wacky date thing. Just be sure to double check the dates.
We used Alpharooms the last time we went to Temptation a few years ago and didn't have any issues which is why we used them again for our trip in December.
