Post Your 1st trip 1st day trip report. Here is ours from 2010 :)

I'll never forget my first day (some time in January 2012). I'd not long turned 29, and this was my first vacation abroad, first time in a tropical climate and first time at an all inclusive resort. Also first time me and the husband (had been together 12 years at that point) were exposed to the TTR type of environment (sexual, playful, party). I was definitely 'on the fence' about whether I'd enjoy TTR but had taken a leap of faith, booked the trip, and we'd saved hard for the previous six months to even afford it.

Our introduction to what TTR was about was at check in: a visibly drunk girl (topless) wobbling up to the counter and asking for a new room key as she'd lost hers. I didn't look at my husband, but I could tell his eyes were wide. I'd been on Cancuncare a lot before our first trip and knew what I was getting in to, but I'd kept him relatively in the dark, not wanting to scare him off before we'd even got there. He knew it was topless optional, but I don't think he'd processed quite what the vibe of the hotel would be.

We got lucky with a ground floor Paty O room, dumped the cases and I made a beeline for the beach. I love the Caribbean-style white sand and blue sky and this was my first time at an actual factual tropical beach. I was blown away by the beauty. It was after 6pm by this point so only a few boisterous stragglers left at the sexy pool bar, which felt a bit too daunting for me to approach (stone-cold sober and had been awake for 20 hours at this point). A beach seller spotted us, attempted to sell us cigars, then weed, which was my cue to make a swift exit back to our room. We met up with the people we'd visited with (sister-in-law and her bf) at the Paty O bar (they were just setting up) for tequila and beer. That's become my tradition now. My first drink is always a tequila followed by a beer. Headed to bed soon after as it was getting on nearly a full day awake.

Did not sleep. Not long after bedding down, realised what happens around 10pm at Paty O...the music gets LOUD. If you've ever had a room adjacent to Paty O you'll know what I mean. I'd heard they served burgers at the bar at night, so we decided to venture out and see if we could get some food. Stepping out into Paty O, the place is heaving and party in full swing. Pretty daunting when you're new and not drunk. Got food, and I'm literally on my way back to the room and somebody grabs me, spins me around saying "Hey! You're Trish from the forum! I recognised you straight away. Come have a drink with us!" Standing in front of me is a blonde bombshell dressed as a schoolgirl. I look behind her and there's 10 or so other ladies dressed the same. We are welcomed into a fold of people - all the girls in skimpy schoolgirl outfits and the guys sporting football jerseys. We're handed shots, and encouraged to dance. It's the first time in my life I haven't felt self-conscious and worried what people will think. I'm not great looking (I'm fat, frumpy and my hair a fizzy mess). I'm ok with that but have never felt entirely comfortable in myself socially before, definitely not amongst a group of beautiful women such as you see regularly at TTR. Yet 2 minutes with this group and I'm having the time of my life. They truly don't give a fuck what you look like, if you're down to party, you're good at TTR. Beauty is not skin deep here. Of course we all appreciate those who have the body for it going all out, but it's not exclusive. Young, old, fat, thin: nobody knows you; nobody gives a shit.

I have no idea what time I got to bed that first day, it was well after the music shut down and I was pretty much fall-down drunk. That day opened my eyes to a whole new world, and I like to think of it as a new beginning. I think of my life as pre-TTR and post-TTR. I've made countless friends, had literal roll on the floor laugh your ass off fun, crazy stories I'll remember till the day I die, I've pushed my boundaries beyond what I ever thought I would and I truly believe my relationship is healthier and stronger than ever thanks to TTR.

 

Oh how times have changed...

First let me say that I brought my mom. Yes, my mom. We have a very good relationship, and we weren't there to hook up, so it wasn't a big deal at all.

We arrived in Cancun on Sat, Dec 21st, and got the privilege of standing in the customs line for about 2 hrs, and thus not getting to TTR until after 8pm. Checked in, told the membership lady we weren't interested, only took 3 times. Went to the room (1348-2 beds, nice room, bathroom had a door) (unplugged the phone), changed for dinner and had a really great meal in the seafood place, walked around a little bit to get the layout of the place. It had been a long day and we were beat from travelling so we decided to call it a night & start fresh the next day.

Sunday
Got up around 8, had breakfast, got our swimsuits on & headed to the beach... not sure how many daiquiris happened there, but around 2pm (I think?) we headed over to the sexy pool, more drinking & pool dancing, a few shots... and I don't really remember much after that. I know I woke up in our room around 9 and knew I needed food. Managed to get dressed, and wandered down to Paty-o's. Found some food and grabbed a seat. It was still pretty dead, and I had promised mom I'd smuggle her some food back up to the room, so I just ate my food & went back.

Monday
Feeling a little rough from the previous day (mom more-so than myself) we got some breakfast & headed back to the beach. Just chilled there for a while. I heard the call for music trivia & decided I was interested... Ended up winning. So then of course I had my prize bottle of champagne that got shared with a few of the runner ups. I went back to the beach to check on mom, and we hung out there for a while. I told mom we couldn't miss the Mr. Temptation contest, and we managed to get front row seats for it. We hung out by the pool for a while, went to arrange our airport ride, then went back to the room to get ready for dinner. The asian place was very good. After dinner we took a walk around, printed out our boarding passes & went back to the room to rest up. Fell asleep & didn't wake up until midnight, since we had to leave at 6 am, we called it a night.

I don't remember seeing anyone with an orange wrist band. (However, I really don't remember much at all after about 4 pm on Sunday in the sexy pool, so...) I'm sorry if I did meet you & just can't remember.

Moral of the story... need to stay longer so I actually make it to a party at Paty-o's.

Good news is, mom had a blast (she was a little nervous), loved the place, and we will probably make this an annual Xmas thing.

Trip report 09/26/2015 to 10/06/2015


(Precursor: Some people we met didn't put they're names on the site so therefore in honor of their choice I am only going on Screen names when naming who we've met; But they know who they are and how much freaking fun we all had!!!!)

WOW!!!

Is how I'd sum it up!! We arrived to a deluge of pouring rain, first in a long time from what we were told...haha just our luck, it figures!! lol but what the hell, after we checked in and got our room promptly (without checking others...we were happy with first choice) we went and ate and then headed to the pool....shivering I (we) sat and chatted with those still there.

So I guess I will start with food choices...OMG, found the buffet had many different choices and if you can't find something you liked there then by all means just don't go, you're to damn picky!!! LOL Seriously though, I had read on other threads how horrible the food was....I found everything delicious!

The Italian Restaurant was AMAZING and our now good friends Maccdn were gracious enough to up their reservations from 2 to 4 to include us. ALL I have to say is THANK YOU to them both And if you have the chance to go make sure you order the sexy coffee.......Amazing!!!!!

They also did the same thing for us at the Asian Restaurant which was just as delicious!!

The Mexican and Seafood were also just as good, the Mexican is also a nice break from the buffet for lunch if you need to change it up. So seriously even if you're a picky eater among the 5 places you should be able to find SOMETHING!!!!! I never had a bad meal!! Just make a point to try them all at least once!!

I must say though it's really not the place, it's the people that will make your trip extra special, (don't get me wrong it's a beautiful resort) Our deepest thanks to the following for making Our trip one we'll never forget. For any newbi's out there that are wondering if all the chatter is true about everyone being accepting, non-judgmental and just a plain great atmosphere to be in, where "No one knows you, and No one gives a shit" it's true......BELIEVE IT!! The regulars watch your back and will warn you if they know of any "creepers" on site and yes they're were a few....lol

Participate in as many or as few of the theme nights as you wish. There are no rules and if you need a break one night by all means stay in bed with your hubby/wife and snuggle!! We did!!! Sometimes drinking all day combined with the sun will hit you harder than you think!!

Join in the games, go outside your comfort level and be wild and crazy, it's really a lot of fun!!! Book a Boobs Cruise!! We were fortunate to have been able to do two!! First on the small boat 40 intimate and then ended our trip with a record setting 100 on the big boat....both amazing!!

My biggest tip though for all the women who may be baring the tata's for the first time PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't forget to apply LOTS of Sunscreen to the ladies!! I had a fairly good base when I got there but the ladies well....I ended up with 2nd degree burns.....just on top where the water line sat and reflectively cooked them.

TTR Trip Report April 22 thru April 28

04/21/12: [Sat.] still stuck here in Houston. Vacation-it is keeping us from accomplishing anything. My little bag and Stacia’s 2 Volkswagen-sized crates are fully packed, awaiting the shipping company to arrive with the forklift to hoist them into the trunk of the car since I ain’t gonna attempt it. Hard to go to sleep, but have to since that alarm is going to go off at 5:30 a.m….

04/22/12: [Sun.] Up and out of bed late since couldn’t sleep (see above). Made the hour run up to Inter-Galactic Airport to fly down to TTR (~2-hour flight is all) in about 45 minutes with Stacia at the wheel, aspiring Indy driver that she is. Got to airport to stand around with our thumbs up our collective rear ends while we attempted to clear security which was making the snail look like an Olympic sprinter. No clue why, there wasn’t any accident blocking traffic or anything.
Arrive at Cancun airport, smell the air, know you’re on vacation. Nice! Skootchie up to grab luggage, use Stacia’s magic finger to clear customs and off to find the Nice guys in Orange shirts (Olympus Tours) for the transport. 35 minutes and a Negro Modelo later, arrive at TTR, where slick gentleman Arturo, our preferred member of the front desk staff (though they are all great) gave us an upgrade to one of the Temptation Suites (No. 1139, btw, if you caught our act, see below). I thought that was downright nice of him, though he did ask if, to keep him from being noticed as doing something out of turn, would talk to the timeshare lady Christina, which we did. Boiling that down, I just asked her if I could cut to the chase and talk to the manager about “what you get for how much,” and she set me up with an appointment on Wednesday, see below. Off to the Sexy Pool!
The usual types of suspects were arranged in the usual fashion around the sexy pool’s bar when we strolled up, and since the sun broke through the cloud as we were stepping up and the temperature jumped up literally five degrees in as many minutes, Stacia’s twins magically found themselves exposed and free. Yeah for me! We had our first round, then rounds, with the very cool people standing about talking and laughing. Met, from the board, Rodin (Thomas & Deborah) and AdamnTerri (Adam & Terri, duh…), both great couples, and all of us were headed out on the Boobs Cruise the next day (see below). Met Thomas and I literally have NO IDEA how to spell her name, so I’m going to do it phonetically, Meer-Ay. Very cool couple, her more than 1st time at TTR, Thomas was a rookie but hit his stride in about 7 minutes or so.
Girls became engrossed in a very interesting discussion about each other’s boobs, which all the guys found absolutely boring of course, as each looked at and commented on the others. Why is that, I wonder?
We were totally stoked for the Naughty Schoolgirl/Kilt night, Stacia’s outfit was more framing than concealing her charms if you get my meaning, and the Kilt wasn’t quite traditional, but then disaster struck. Murphy’s Law.
Unfortunately, I forgot to have lunch and to take Stacia in there to feed her, too, so after the Noon until 5:45 beer-drinking party, we had to crash for a nap, which turned into a 13-hour sleepy time.

 

It is amazing how eerily similar everyone's first trip Day 1's are. Really have enjoyed reading them. Thanks. Such an amazing place to create so much happiness. Gets me even more excited for the first new TTR visit in 20 days

Our second day was much more fascinating and interesting. Will post that next

 

Day 2 Feb 25th 2010. Wow.

Thursday 2/25 - Day 2
Day started with Jen waking up at 4am, thinking it was actually 5am but we hadnt switched our watches yet, to save a chair.
TIP: I got this one from this site. In our opinion the best chair locations are the chairs on the strip between the pool and the beach, but not too close to the bar. The benefit is they are close enough to the bar, you can see all the action across the way with all the events and you get maximum sun exposure. If you are too close to the bar then people block you to watch the action with the events. If you are on the other end then your sun gets blocked later in the afternoon by the buildings.

After reserving the chairs she took a little nap and we both got up at 7 to use the gym. All the power was turned off so we had to find someone to turn it on but this was the only day this was an issue. Gym was better than some resorts we have stayed at in the past but still was just OK. Had a treadmill and a broken treadmill. A couple other cardio items, free weights ranging from 5lbs to 40lbs, a nautilus like bench and one other nautilus machine for legs. Definitely just adequate, not special. Nice view of the water though.

After the workout we did breakfast at the buffet. Typical breakfast items with mexican options which were nice. Easy seating and quick service. They definitely appreciate a buck or two and remember you. Jen just walked in while I was writing this and said 'dont forget to say how good the Mimosa's were!'.

Back to the room for some 'fun' and then to the pool early to start the partying as there was some sun but still chilly with a good wind. The days kind of run together for me but pretty sure Thursday more folks from cancuncare rolled in and we got to meet Mike/Christen, dave, fun in the sun, kaboom, ntbaby and many more. Plus we met others that were not from the site but fit in very nicely with the group like Matt/Leann (see profile pics). Lots of shots this day. It was a huge advantage having met all these folks in advance on the site. Usually it takes us 3-4 days to get comfortable to say hi to folks but we felt like we already knew them from the site. Nothing is an easier intro than saying 'hey, arent you ____ from cancuncare?'.
TIP: the cups are small. we brought a large coffee cup that kept my beers and red bull vodkas cold. we wish we prepared better and got the bubba cups that some folks had. The cups save trips to the bar and keep your drinks cold.
TIP: if you dont ask then they give you the standard stuff. We asked for captain for our rum drinks and stoli for my red bull vodka drinks (if they didnt have stoli then they always had smirnoff which was better than the other option, cant remember the exact name). Some bars did not have them but most did hidden away. Once they see you are a tipper then they always seem to 'find' the good stuff for you.
I think Thursday was the day of the couples contest. We did not participate but wish we did. It is like the newlywed game. Some embarrassing moments but nothing over the top. Congrats to Kaboom for winning it!

We had so much fun with our new friends by the pool we were invited to a hot tub party! Being newbies we did not know this was code for a different type of party. Our friends were very respectful though and we were allowed to do some shots, watch briefly and slip out when it got a little too heated for us. We are not prudes by any means. I think I would put us in the swayer category but to be honest I am still unsure how all the definitions work Regardless it was a fun experience and it is always good to expand your mind.

We then did the buffet for the first time. Average, not nearly as good as the night before at the seafood restaurant but we were in a hurry and got to eat with some more cancuncare friends before they departed for home Friday and this also gave us enough time to get ready for lingerie night.

lingerie night is simply the BEST! We both participated fully. You have to be dressed in lingerie in order to play in the casino games. Anything goes, there were some great crazy outfits. In our opinion the biggest negative with the resort is the cameras. There were many people who did not participate who sat on the side fully clothed and took pics. Chinos yells at them and tries to stop them but he is busy running the casino games so it is impossible. Regardless the night was a blast. The object is to accumulate as much play money as possible and at the end there is an auction for items like hats, tshirts and champagne. I would guestimate that 60 people participated? About the same amount sat on the side. Outfits included nice silk bozers and socks for guys and the smaller the better for girls. At Chinos table the girls could remove their tops for more chips. Easy to meet people in this setting. Was a great party. My dealer kept on busting so I ended up with a bottle of champagne which we made good use of later at a smaller hot tub party :wink3:

After the lingerie party at nice shoes we went to Patty O's with our new friends Matt/Leah and met up with other cancuncare people. Most of you that were there on the 25th likely remember Matt, he was one of the 'sock' guys. He had a sock on front and then 2 socks that tied together that made it look like he had a thong on in addition to the sock covering, well you know what. What was hillarious was eventually he took off the 2 socks that were making up the thong part and got yelled at to put them back on. Some how 3 socks was ok but 1 was not. Funny place.
Surprisingly we were the only ones still in our lingerie at this point of the night (it was rainy and 50 degrees) but we were so lit at this point it didnt seem to matter. Like the saying goes, no body knows you and nobody gives a ___, or something like that. The saying worked well for this night. The night ended with a smaller hot tub party that we were more comfortable with. Definitely a crazy day/night.
TIP: Lingerie night is the best night to just go all out. I felt bad for the watchers. All shapes and sizes participate. Even if you dont feel comfortable showing skin then go in lingerie that covers everything. You will have more fun than sitting on the side!

So "reserving chairs" is definitely a thing huh? Are the folks actually sitting on those chairs, or is it just a place to sit their stuff? I'm sorry but if I see folks doing that I am just going to move their stuff and sit on the chair. I'm not a "pool" person. I like to grab a drink and sit down and soak up some rays.

 

This makes me wish I wrote that Trip Report I have been meaning to write for 2+ years now... damn.

We didn't have much of a first night, we didn't get in until 5pm or so, so we hit the buffet. After that we decided to just go sit at the Premier Bar and people watch for a bit to get the lay of the land so to speak because we really didn't have a clue what the rest of the week had in store for us. We met a real nice couple from NM at the bar and talked to them for a bit, all they did was complain about the shenanigans that go on poolside and during the games. This had us really thinking hard about our resort choice. Keep in mind we were 26 and had never been on vacation together in 6 years of being together.

We retired early to bed knowing that we had the Boobs Cruise that day (the infamous June 29th, 2015, running buffet #2). The people we met on there were the people we partied with all week and that really made the experience.

 

Day 2. Back to the pool mid morning. We started in one of the "fun holes" as they are called, but eventually made it over to the side of the pool right in front of the bathrooms. That ended up being our spot the rest of the trip. Lunch at Margarita's, and then quickly back to the pool. It rained during lunch then the sun came out for a bit after, but it didn't last. It poured for a few hours. It was warm enough out we really didn't mind so we drank by the swim up bar, and talking to people for a couple hours in the rain. Pretty much like every story you read about when it rains at the sexy pool. Eventually it got a bit cool, Meri and I headed to our Jacuzzi to warm up. It was much bigger than I thought it would be, and didn't take as long to fill as people said. We did the buffet for dinner, and the rest of our group did the Asian. We then met at the sports bar waiting for karaoke. The first two that sang were what I would call karaoke professionals. The words on the screen stopped working as soon as the song began, but he didn't need them. They were good. Then two guys from our group sang, and they are not what I would call karaoke professionals, but that's what makes it fun. There was supposed to be a band at Patyo's that night, but they set up in Nice Shoes, because of a chance of rain. I hadn't heard good things about the bands, and we never stopped back in to hear them, so I don't know how that went. Back to Patyo's until around 2:00. On this night I discovered my drink for the rest of the trip. Back home I would mostly drink beer, or Captain and Coke. On vacation I've always liked the slushy drinks out of the blender, don't judge.... Never had a problem with them before, but I did after day one this trip. Switched to vodka and soda for the duration, and felt much better for it. At one point I was ordering a drink at Patyo's and I'm trying to get a vodka and soda, but I kept yelling Sky and Vodka. I think I repeated it about three times before I figured out what I was doing wrong. Back home, that's a sign you've had enough, on vacation you just throw an extra dollar in the tip jar for being an idiot, and keep going.
