First off the roof top is going to be plenty big. If you think about it say there are 10 300sqft rooms on each floor that's 3000 sq ft of roof top double that for two towers that are adjoined in the middle. So plenty of room. With that being said I think it is NUTZ and CRAZY that we are talking about this as an option. I also love it. LOL

As far as the marketing yes it would help with getting new people but is probable not necessary right now with the rest of the renovation. They may be wanting to save it for a surprise for grand opening party. Again totally crazy to think any of this is true but I like to start rumors.

 

Yea you're right, guess there would be enough room.

Just looked again and it does say "privileged playground". So maybe there would be restrictions on who could use it. Tower guests probably for sure. Maybe members?

 

That would be concerning, although it seems consistent with their intention to go upscale. Fact is, VIP sections and such always have a detrimental effect on interaction, which is what makes TTR a special place. They should always strive for inclusion, not exclusion.

Floor joists appear not to be treated. Hard to tell though

 

I feel like this may be over the old Asian restaurant.

 

That's my conclusion as well. Seems closer to water than other buildings and not that high off of ground. Sure would like to see pic from another angle to confirm.

 

Changing my mind about this location. I feel like it is closer to the dock area then the Asian restaurant is. There was talk about a new "club house" That the Boobs Cruise would be using not sure if this might be the roof of that. This does seem like it is a one store building so it really has me boggled as to the location with that boat sitting so close for the this location.
