I have never gone during that time period, but have read people say it does effect the hotel somewhat in March. There are more groups of younger singles in March. I personally can't see it having that much of an impact, but if 15-30 guys that normally wouldn't have been there are, perhaps it could change the vibe at certain times in some bars/areas.

However, after the remodel with the price increase there is a sense that these types of single guy groups (and I am not saying anything against single guys, it's just the 6+ person groups) will start to phase out.

Can't we ever have the opposite and have an all-girl college decide to spring break at TTR??!!

Yes it does. Not in a good way, lol. Still very tolerable and fun. As stated the price point may minimize the single young male ratio.

We have been twice from the last day or so of March into the second week of April and did not notice any effect. Not too many college kids if at all. The youngest late twenties, early 30's...beyond college.

Spring Break affected the old TTR indirectly, imho

Real Spring breakers are typically 18-21 with little disposable income, they don't stay at TTR - they dont even meet the age criteria. But what happened was you'd get a lot of older guys (late twenties to early thirties) who have good jobs and more money (particularly from the UK) going to TTR because they saw an MTV program or Girls Gone Wild video about crazy American girls during SB. They hear TTR is topless and think it will be Spring Break Central with the sluttiest college girls.

    Doesn't turn out that way.

From 7 years of being on here I have seen way too many people come back in March and 1st week of April complaining about the packs of guys to not share that we intentionally don't go then because it sure sounds like the vibe changes for the worst. Sure you might get a good week in there. Sure the effect may be less due to the nicer newer version of TTR but I know if I could I would move my dates a little. If I couldn't then I would go and make the best of it as TTR with the spring breakers is still better than no TTR at all.
