More for my own use than anything as I need to write something down I wont lose and it may as well be here With the upcoming increase in Boobs Cruise frequency I need to find a new routine to posting the usual Boobs Cruise threads. Once October comes we'll have 8-9 cruises a month and with bookings opening two months before (eventually rising to three months before) we could end up with 25 Boobs Cruise stickies if I use the previous method which would be far too many. Therefore I'm planning on: Two months before (rising to three) I'll make a dates announcement thread where the upcoming dates are specified with instructions for booking. At this point I'll pm everyone that has expressed interest via the roll call to tell them that bookings are open. We'll also publicise the dates via our various FB groups and pages and our email list of previous customers. Then one month before each cruise date I'll create a date specific sticky thread detailing the numbers booked so far and open it up to those who are going so they can get to know each other before the day. I'll email all those who have booked to let them know it is there. As before, each date specific cruise thread will be unstuck once the cruise has taken place.
So I'm thinking a Monday October 2nd Boobs Cruise during Octoberbreast is something I can count on ........
Yep! No bookings for October just yet thought please. Need to get everything running smoothly for August and September and then we'll extend the period for booking in advance.
Just going to give some early feedback on the new schedule. Personally, we would probably never book a Friday cruise. Friday nights are usually the best nights at TTR, and after spending a full day on the water, we would worry that we'd be too tired for the nighttime festivities. Also, a Friday cruise for most people means it will be near the end of their stay, and we always liked going on earlier cruises as a good way to meet people. All that said, I'm sure a lot of thought went into the decision for a Friday cruise, so we may well be in the minority.
Then Mondays should work for you We needed to find two days that were spaced sufficiently apart, that followed less popular theme nights to ensure good attendance and that weren't the busiest days for the boat company. Mondays and Fridays came out best. Personally I'd prefer it wasn't Fridays either as that is also our favourite night at the hotel and one of the two nights of the week we don't have to get the kids to school early next morning.
I've added an extra date for Monday September 11th, we have two good sized groups where Fridays wont work as well for them.
Steve, I am very happy to hear that the hotel is officially endorsing your product. Best wishes to your continued success! Now the big question, I normally arrive on Saturday and leave a Sunday, so do I book for a early week Monday cruise or a later in my stay Friday. The Monday cruise would make more sense meeting new people aboard the boat, but then my week would basically be all down hill from there, hahaha.
