Demolition Progress And Renovation Progress. Reports, Pics And Videos

Not sure if its a Jacuzzi, but it definitely has the same shape. The VIP bar is round and is already built. It's the thatched roof area. I don't see them placing the bathrooms so close to the ocean or blocking the view with a structure.

 

I,m thinking the new bathrooms will be down in the area where the old Village Wok restaurant was.

The village wok is still there, actually was expanded. And a new stage is being put in directly next to it where the old two story area they stored the stage in was. The new pool bathroom will probably be the old existing bathrooms that were under the Gym as you exited towards the quite pool.

 

Yeah I didn't see anything that looked like construction of a jacuzzi near the new deck. Did look like the Asian restaurant was replaced w a new building but it basically only was a shell at this point. No finishing done. And near it the new stage. Bathrooms could of been behind the stage or in the new tower bottom level. Not sure. Just speculation. Didn't see anything that looked like them but that was because everything just looked like rooms. No electeical or plumbing done yet.

 

We have booked our room and airfare already. Meaning, ALL paid for. Jen & Kyle do you think if it is possible should we try and move our trip to September? I don't know if I can change my airfare. Just curious?!?! We are coming in August 18th. The price for the rooms are the same and it sounds like things won't be ready by then or we will be looking at nothing but construction. Is there anyway you can email me what it looks like? I won't share it or post anything.

 

We have reservations for August 15th and we are not cancelling. Do I think there is any chance the entire resort is ready in August? No. Do I think something will be open August 15th? Yes. It really is a question of where it falls in between. Construction will definitely still be in progress.Just an opinion that less will be done than I hoped. But it isn't enough of a concern that we are changing our travel plans. We will go and party hard and enjoy being one of the first ones to explore the new TTR.

 

I'm looking forward to distracting the construction crew to be honest!!! Not that I wouldn't want the entire resort open but as long as the buffet, the pool bar, the Sexy Pool and some type of night time entertainment (ie BASH) is open, I'm good! I'm also of the mind set that since the resort will have some construction going on, they may be a little more lenient with us being a little wild!

 

I do think that since it won't be finished like promised. The resort should give people a night for free or upgrade if your not a member. We wanted to purchase this time but wanted to make sure the resort was done first lol. I was looking for a referral to use because if we buy that person will get $500 but we are brand new to this site. We have been to TTR 2 other times. The second time we had plans on purchasing and then they said they were closing for a year......ugh if anyone knows of anyone with a referral please let me know. They said I can change it at anytime.
