This is a solid point for sure. But for me personally I felt it was far enough along on the last pics I saw and the speed they are making, that I was just like F-it, lets lock it down for the beginning. So I did that this week, and prices for flights weren't too bad either.

I really think people could look at it either way from pictures and be like "looks almost complete, lets book" or the exact opposite with a "No way it's ready". But that's huge guesswork just from pictures, and peoples limited construction experience.

Elyse isn't really able to spend anytime on here, or looking at stuff on FB, or planning before any of our trips. So she always just follows my lead and is excited in the moment about whatever we are packing or walking into. That might actually be pretty nice for this first time for me not really fully knowing what we are walking into. I am all about being prepared, but there is something fun about SOME surprises, and I feel like this could be one of them.

You can defiantly get some pics when you drive by, but when I was down there in May it was crazy out front. Just like huge crews in motion and walls up and everything. The view from the beach was similar, but the further down the beach/dock, the better perspective.

That's not surprising, it's how all the makeover shows are run as well. Tease you till the end, and then the 'big reveal." You have a somewhat of a working relationship with them, so whatever you want to allow or not allow on your site is fine with me. I think there will be some people taking pictures, and posting on Facebook, and I think anyone with a drone is a great idea.

If you walk onto a construction site with a white hardhat on I can pretty much guarantee no one will stop you .

If you want to use the drone just get a boat s fly it from off shore. The police or crew isn't going to swim out too you to stop you lol. Im sure if you find a foreman at the site and give him some $$$ you'll get a private tour of the entire facility! We should start a GoFundMe and pay a worker for daily updated pics.

They haven't asked for anything to be removed, but since I'm responsible for this site I'd prefer we don't have any more pics or videos posted unless it's something the hotel has released. Really not worth the risk of souring a good relationship.

It's not too long to wait now.

It's like someone mentioned re the makeover shows they want the finished product to be a surprise.

You cant just wander onto the construction site, they wont let you in. There's security on the beach too.
