I'll be there August 16th on my first solo vacation and my first time at Temptations. At first, I felt the same way you do but have come to the conclusion that this is MY vacation and I will have fun regardless. From what I read on these threads, it's quite easy to meet people at this resort. Don't go down there on a mission to "hook up". Just have the mindset of having a great time and if you hook up, then you hook up. If you don't you don't. No big deal. This place looks like a great time and I hope you have a blast.
